EXTREMELY SUSPECT COMPAMY

In my experience, not to be trusted AT ALL. I was 'patroning' a site and then for no reason PATREON cancelled my subscription. In order to re-subscribe, PATREON charge an extra joining fee (although I had in fact paid to the end of that month). Added to this, they somehow(I have no idea how) managed to set up a second account for me using an email address I like to keep dormant and don't normally use at all. After I got a receipt for the payment…

After I got a receipt for the payment of this month, I stopped my subscription so it would not do an auto-payment next month (30 days later). But instead, my membership was cancelled NOW so I could not use this month membership that I had just paid for. I will now talk with my bank about getting my payment back for the current month that they captured without me having the ability to use (membership).

I'm finally done after 2 years of unprofessionalism

I've been a creator at Patreon for 2 years, much of that time as a Pro user writing adult fiction. They've just implemented new 18+ rules which don't make sense, criminalize innocent people and threaten deletion and banning of accounts without warning. In addition, they have no support system. Negative 5 stars, Patreon scammed me for $40+. Ridiculous.

The worst company I've seen so far. I received a one-time $40+ donation and tried to withdraw it. Took so many days and suddenly they suspend my account. No clear reason is given. Just for FORTY BUCKS! Looks like this super cyberbegging company is too big to care now. Should've checked Trustpilot before opening an account with this scummy company. Good thing I didn't ask my patrons to donate more or else I'll be getting a class action lawsuit by now.

A small fee each month; but twice Patreon decided for no apparent reason to 'unsubscribe' me from this; and re-subscribing meant giving them an extra entrance fee . No Subscriber Protection for Fraud

I've only used Patreon 3 times as a subscriber. I am reviewing from the prospective of a content subscriber, not a content creator. I lost $40 to a fraudulent creator who was selling Pokemon cards. Do not try to buy merchandise from this website. Use it for art, videos, blogs, but not for buying items. One star too many

One star too many.. Patreon "creators" took my visa payment.. shut the service off and Patreon says tough luck.. I believe Patreon may be fabricating "creators" and drumming up interest then collecting and saying go ask the "creator" for your refund.. I will never trust this scam again.

CSAM.

There's a ton of CSAM on here. The descriptions are disgusting and obviously exploitative using terms like "naughty little girl" and "waiting for daddy" I reported it a month ago and it still hasn't been taken down yet. I don't get why they would ever keep this on their website. I wonder if the police are aware of this.

I contacted Patreon because this was against their community guidelines and also asked Patreon for a refund. I didn't hear back from them for a whole month before they told me that they'll investigate and in the mean time I need to contact the creator directly for a refund.
