Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) is a marketing automation platform built for B2B teams already using Salesforce. The platform handles email automation, lead scoring, segmentation, ...Read more

Pardot pros and cons

  • Full marketing suite covering automation, lead scoring, segmentation, and campaign execution.

  • Direct Salesforce CRM integration gives unified pipeline visibility across sales and marketing.

  • Drag-and-drop tools for landing pages and emails work without technical expertise.

Decent marketing platform that has potential

What do you like best? It seems to be user friendly as I'm able to find what I need quickly and navigate easily through the platform. What do you dislike? The only thing that holds me back from raving about this platform is because I was a big user of Hubspot and loved them. I end up comparing many marketing tools to Hubspot, but I do think Pardot has a lot of potential, especially in the reporting. Recommendations to others considering the product Start with a trial to see if it's ...

Necessary Platform but Not Very Salesforce Enabled

What do you like best? I like Pardot mostly because it speaks directly with our CRM, Salesforce. I also like that it starts the tracking of our clients from their IP address. This product has truly help with keeping our cold leads separate from our hot leads as well. We are able to store them in Pardot before qualifying them and pushing them over to Salesforce. I particularly like the ease of pushing them over in separate segmentation lists through the automation rules as well so when a ...

Needs some updates

What do you like best? Easy implementation with Salesforce, segmentation is quick and fast, easy enough to do simple email tasks. Tracking and activity monitoring at the contact records in Salesforce is great and useful for informing sales activities. What do you dislike? This is a bare bones platform and there haven't been many updates after the past 2-3 years. Lots of downtime issues over the past year with a lacking notification system. WYSIWYG is really just an HTML viewer with ...
