makes my job easier. no need to fear missing an alarm

What do you like best? 1) Being able to customize notification methods, and having multiple types of notifications. And each user can set theirs for what works best for them. 2) Peace of mind! Having an escalation policy means there's no worry about incidents going unhandled. 3) That it integrates with Slack so I can acknowledge and resolve incidents from Slack chats. This is what I end up doing 90% of the time, rather than using the web or mobile apps. What do you dislike? 1) The web ...

It does what it's meant to do

What do you like best? I like how it integrates nicely with other applications like calendar and slack. The cellphone app works great and never had an issue while paging or being paged. What do you dislike? I think the design is overall a bit uninteresting and feels a bit old. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use it for on-call rotations and paging whenever there are incidents.

Great tool for incident management

What do you like best? 1. Easy to get support on your products and manage the support schedule 2. Incident analysis and looking back for product improvements on MTTR, MTBF etc is nice What do you dislike? The scheduling logic sometimes gets too hard to debug, esp if there are conflicts. The UI does not alert on conflicts very well What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Since pagerduty, it's become a single tool for support management

Reliable and robust

What do you like best? PagerDuty allows for us to effectively scale our oncall and escalation paths across many teams and schedules. It is very easy to learn and manage from an admin side. Best in class incident management tool

What do you like best? It just works! PagerDuty integrates easily with every monitoring tool in our stack. While it works well out of the box, it's also highly configurable for our specific needs. What do you dislike? Some of the outbound integrations e.g. Slack could do with improvement; as could documentation of best practice usage Recommendations to others considering the product: It's worth paying extra for; significantly better than OpsGenie and VictorOps What problems are ...
