Good experience over the years
What do you like best? PagerDuty has been very reliable and does its job well. What do you dislike? We would use it more if it were a little less expensive per person. It's annoying that pagination defaults to 5 items instead of 100 (can't this be a user preference?). Also, it's difficult to notify two groups of people of the same incident: if one person from group A acknowledges, it cancels the alerting of group B. Recommendations to others considering the product: Use the ...

Reliable tool
What do you like best? Creating Maintenance schedules and the Alerting from the app is great it turns the volume up even when its off. The integration with other apps is great we are able to get alerted if a main service is down. What do you dislike? The Alerting from the app will wake you up! Sometimes the schedule would not change and had to be manually changed. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It has helped with creating alerts ...

Provides better uptime and helps us make our SLAs like nothing else
What do you like best? I love how easy it is to use Pagerduty. Setting schedules, integrating with 3rd party apps such as checkmk, uptrends, and site 24x7. I also love how the alerting options are versatile. Phone, app, text, email, or all of the above. Its also nice to be able to tier alerts, so we can get low priority emails based on our lower level environments, but have our production environments send high alerts which have an escalated paging criteria. What do you dislike? ...

Good tool to get notified if something is wrong
What do you like best? We have been using PagerDuty for a few years now. What can I way? It just works reliably! Multiple ways of notifications make it easy to NOT miss an outage! I do like the Slack integration! What do you dislike? Schedule overviews are still a little cumbersome, especially if you are wanting to have Schedules during Office hours and Non-Office hours. But visibility around that and UI is improving! I would like to be able to add blocked dates where I am not ...

User friendly
What do you like best? Option we have on this platform to get alerts and on time is way too awesome. Kind of traffic you handle doesn't affect your performance. What do you dislike? Ux/ Ui is not that bad, but can be improved, because searching within account is tedious task. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Getting real time alerts

PagerDuty - an awesome tool
What do you like best? Flexibility of schedule setup. Escalation policy flow What do you dislike? Privileging, any team can add my team into their escalation policy without my knowledge, there should be a mechanism to notify a member or team. Recommendations to others considering the product: Awesome tool - get it What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Escalations, getting resources on an issue

Safeguard for our system
What do you like best? PagerDuty is an efficient way of doing the alerting when it is required to collect the data from a few sources and notify only the relevant persons via the means those people prefer. What do you dislike? Sometimes, it feels like PagerDuty is meant for big corporations with many teams/departments where the incident process is complicated. Building something really simple is not possible or obvious and requires thinking of the play scenarios in the terms of a big ...

Does the job
What do you like best? Pagerduty allows for alerting for my on call engineering teams. It's never once failed to do exactly what we needd. What do you dislike? Maybe it is the way we are set up but maintaining the rota'd schedule is quite painful. Recommendations to others considering the product: I've not found a better solution. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our use-case is very simple. If we get a P1/Sev1 issue wake up the ...
