The site is trying to charge after cancelling

The site is trying to charge me even when I’ve subscribed for annual premium and when I tried to cancel there’s repetitive attempts to charge my card. Fraudulent company! Poor value.

Otter.ai is MALWARE

I used Otter in 2022 for a client and paid for the pro account right away. It was a MUCH different product experience than it is now. I wanted to try Otter with some other notetaking tools so I signed up for a free account but I selected "don't automatically join meetings" by default and this is not what it will do. It will automatically join a meeting, then of course, you're in a meeting, and you can't turn it off as you're in a meeting already, so you go ahead and choose to deal with it ...

Otter.ai support is ABSOLUTE. GARBAGE. Avoid at all costs.

I had used Otter for five years with unlimited access to all of my transcriptions (every single one has since been customized with additional data). Hundreds of calls, thousands of hours of recordings...and they've removed access to all of my content. WITH ZERO WARNING. They even promised I'd have access with my "legacy play" until 2025. Yet all that I can acccess are the latest 25 recordings (and I do 3+ per day, so that's less than a week of content). I've reached out countless times to ...

What do you like best about Otter.ai? I love that it did not take a degree in IT to figure out what to do. I use it every day to help me manage my many meetings and notes from calls I do all day.

What do you like best about Otter.ai? The accurate transcription that it has it is only the begginig of the characteristics that makes this application a must have when talking about virtual meetings. They way it allows to categorize topic and detects them during the conversation to tag the information is wonderful, and the option to have a to do list after the meeting automatically generating is so helpful and time saving.

JUST AWFUL

Terrible customer service, they won't address a glitch that keeps happening and now I somehow exceeded all of my plan's hours?? I regret purchasing this service, I never even wanted to sign up for the year I wanted to do monthly and they locked me in with their stupid policy. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Really bad, customer service is non existent

Really bad. This is a rip off do not use it. Even though Our files failed to upload Otter still charged us. they used to be good but have switched to an upload cap model and will count any failed uploads

ZERO Customer Support

The product is satisfactory, but their customer support is non-existent. I have sent 3 messages to them trying to get them to fix a account issue and have ZERO responses.

This is the worst software tool ever…

This is the worst software tool ever invented - despite the correct settings, it will continue to join all your meetings (EVEN THOSE ARRANGED BY OTHER HOSTS) which leads to embarrassing conversations - the owners of Otter probably think they are being clever - 'oh all these new people will see our brand and want to subscribe' - no the truth of the matter is that it is seen as a massive invasion of privacy - no-one wants it to join a call UNLESS YOU ARE THE HOST - have deleted account, will ...
