This is the worst software tool ever…

This is the worst software tool ever invented - despite the correct settings, it will continue to join all your meetings (EVEN THOSE ARRANGED BY OTHER HOSTS) which leads to embarrassing conversations - the owners of Otter probably think they are being clever - 'oh all these new people will see our brand and want to subscribe' - no the truth of the matter is that it is seen as a massive invasion of privacy - no-one wants it to join a call UNLESS YOU ARE THE HOST - have deleted account, will ...

Deleted free account the bloody thing…

Deleted free account the bloody thing kept turning up meetings. Even with deleted account the emails kept coming it was borderline spam.

These peoples have taken £22.80, £0.80, £136 payment within one month of start tablet not working no integration. very offensive software

very offensive It attacked my privacy, emails and my meetings! It joined my meetings while I do not asked or even while I do not joined, and take notes from my meetings! I am searching to find a way to get rid of it.

Otter hacked my account and sent…

Otter hacked my account and sent government sensitive data to all of my email contacts to promote itself. This was a Federal offense that put my job in jeopardy. I didn’t even get an apology.

THE SOFTWARE AND SERVICE ARE APPALLING

This is an appalling piece of software. In short: Signed up for free account. Opted for it not to 'join' meetings automatically but it still did. Removed my account, but otter still joining my meetings. Sent 3 emails to their support but no answer and issue remains unresolved. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

One BIG problem …

One BIG problem at the outset is that there is no customer service number to call so any issue is challenging to get resolved in a timely fashion as it is too much back and forth with the customer service email and sometimes they don't fix the problem or address the wrong issue! The software is buggy and has several issues... half the time, the Zoom URL is reported as "Invalid" within Otter while it is still a perfectly good URL for me to join the meeting; So critical meetings that I ...
