I have been an Essbase Developer/Administrator for the past year at my current role

What do you like best? Essbase does help our finance team manage their financials and forecasts. What do you dislike? Our Essbase needs to be optimibezed, so really the only thing missing is our own training on the tool. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are solving our problems of financial forecasting and analysis using Essbase.

What do you like best? I like the flexibility Essbase offers to users to design queries and reports. My review of Essbase

What do you like best? I have been using it for a long time, so it seems logical to me and it is easy to query the data. What do you dislike? I do not like the SmartView interface and the lack of support from Oracle. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It does its job and we use it for consolidation and planning.

Great Toolset but many limitations

What do you like best? Being able to control setting and hardware that is utilized is great What do you dislike? My experience is that for the amount of detail the users i support need to utilize the Essbase cubes do not perform very well. For non high volumes it works great however. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Storage of data for historical analytical purposes. Utilized for analysis as well as reporting to management
