What do you like best? In my opinion, the real power of Essbase is the Ad-hoc capabilities in Excel. What do you dislike? There is a learning curve that can be difficult for some user, particularly those who have used Excel in one way for most of their career. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I primarily use Essbase for a Management dashboard and for Planning. Also creating numerous ad-hoc reports.

What do you like best? What is best about essbase is it’s seemless integration with Excel. Most users are financial professionals who are already familiar with building reports in excel and want a fast data retrieval. Essbase offers users the speed and ease of use they expect.
