Good Experirence with 12c

What do you like best? drastic improvement in performance compared to current 11g in our application. What do you dislike? job scheduling was much more easier in 11g DB servers compared to 12c though we did not explore completely. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? batch execution time and performance bottlenecks. Got rid of applying new plans and profiles whenever a query is not moving

What do you like best? We had oracle upgrade from 11g and it was easy and flexible. What do you dislike? Not applicable. I have not seen any failures as such What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Processing millions of records. Indexing and big table caching is good. Performance is better.

Long time user of Oracle since 1999

What do you like best? That is gives me metrics that help me understand what is going on internally as a DBA. What do you dislike? Cost of training. I estimate it cost about 50K for DBA related Oracle training from Oracle to take all the classes to fullly support it. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Consolidation of databases.

What do you like best? In the new Oracle 12c database environment, i like the in memory component which enables us the enhance the performance of our batch cycles. The usrs are very happy after migrating from 11g to 12c What do you dislike? There is nothing much to dislike in Oracle 12c What business problems are you solving with the product?
