Easy tool to making programming chart and flow chart

What do you like best? iOS template iOS/Mac APP icon Template system What do you dislike? Layout and toolbox is not clear to use, not like Photoshop and Viso Recommendations to others considering the product: It's a good tool can be used to design mobile mockups and icons. But to the flow chart and business logic charts, it's not as easy-to-use and powerful as other tools like LucidChart What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Organizing ideas and scenario for a novel

What do you like best? Omnigraffle allows me to organize ideas, concepts, and link them together, giving me a clear vision of my writing work to come. What do you dislike? The latest versions are a bit sophisticated for my personal use, I don't need so many features. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you need a very complete tool, this one is for you. But if you just need a mind mapping app, you may prefer simpler one, like Scapple for example. What problems ...

Love it!

What do you like best? Omnigraffle is a great prototyping tool for user experience design, with lots of drag and drop features. What do you dislike? It's not good for hi-fidelity designs, and doesn't integrate with many products. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's helping me prototype quicker and make wireframes.

Not the easiest tool to use, but has great capabilities.

What do you like best? Omnigraffle has a lot of capabilities and features that are valuable when it comes to building wireframes and prototypes in the User Experience design/architecture/research fields. What do you dislike? The tool has a major learning curve in my opinion. It often feels like there are more user-friendly tools with the same capabilities (if not more) that require less learn-time. Recommendations to others considering the product: Take a nod from more recently ...

Solid tool for charts and wireframing

What do you like best? The OmniGraffle is one of the best and most powerful tools by the Omni Group. It wonderfully helped me to draw graphics for my software development projects as well as for presentations. It contains everything I want and especially the simple snapping and alignment directly during the moving or resizing of the objects makes it easy to create aesthetic drawings. What do you dislike? Sometimes the UX is not very intuitive. But that's a result of the great amount of ...

There is no better diagramming program for the Mac

What do you like best? Omnigraffle is a powerful, flexible diagramming program. I use it mostly to create flow charts, and with a little work you can use it to make beautiful charts. I especially like how easily you can create custom templates and collections of symbols. This makes it easy to create and share specific styles and elements for specific uses. The smart snapping and alignment tools set the standard years before Photoshop and the like added them. Finally, the iOS app is ...

Extremely flexible tool for fast wireframes and mockups. Good export options.

What do you like best? There's a lot of flexibility provided in OmniGraffle. One can set up multiple canvases at various sizes. On those canvases you can have many, independent layers that you can turn on and off (for demonstrating "states" in UI design, printing, exporting to a PDF). One can order layers very easily as well as lock them on a canvas. OmniGraffle also has a "shared layer" feature (a canvas can have many) which allows one to set up common elements such as navigation ...

Great for documentation and drawing flows.

What do you like best? I like that it creates vector based drawings. I mainly use Omnigraffle to create flows. These being complex and large canvas you need to zoom in and out to see the whole thing so it cannot be done in a bitmap based tool like Axure. What do you dislike? Omnigraffle aged on many levels. Shortcuts are not consistent with the one commonly used by other Mac apps. Double clicked is used a lot. The overall UX could use some refactoring. It is very paper driven while I ...
