Clunky Mindmapping Software
What do you like best? The prebuilt segments were great and there were a lot of graphics to choose from. What do you dislike? Wifreframing items together was difficult and not intuitive at all. Was very difficult to get lines to connect to icons the way I wanted and they did not connect so anytime I moved an icon I had to redraw the connection. Recommendations to others considering the product: The software has a lot of great assets if you're willing to learn how it works. Not ...

Superb way to outline workflows, data models.
What do you like best? I love that the software adopts all the best practices for Macintosh development: everything works exactly as expected. FAST. Intuitive. What do you dislike? I end up juggling too many panels on my screen at once. Need some way to consolidate them, like with adobe products. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use omnigraffle to draw up database schemas and describe data flows for clients.

Omnigraffle Principal Wireframe Software
What do you like best? Omnigraffle is simple to pick up and use. I like the ability to quickly create and gauge different level fidelity of wireframes in one software. A wide variety of wireframes libraries to get started with for mockup and quick and dirty prototypes. What do you dislike? Minimal ability to create live wireframes or linked prototypes in the versions I have used. Occasionally, find a confusing error in the UI when looking to change a style of an object. ...

Great diagraming and wireframing tool
What do you like best? The ability to create stencils and the ease of creating precise wireframes. What do you dislike? Lack of prototyping or being able to export to another prototyping software. It would be nice to be able to set up HTML prototype files writhing Omnigraffle. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use this program for wireframes and annotations.

Great tool for mental maps and wireframing
What do you like best? Omnigraffle is built for wireframing, diagramming, and mapping in a no-frills way that ousts competitors like Visio or Balsamiq. It's clean and has all the features you need, but not too much. Auto-locking and flexibility to drag objects and have their connectors move with you makes it really easy to change and update existing maps. What do you dislike? It's pretty lo-fi and not very robust for something like wireframing, so it's best to use this in conjunction ...

More than Just Wireframes
What do you like best? Lots of options for different projects. Very clean user-interface, especially if you use their other products. More robust that tools that only wireframe for web and app UI. What do you dislike? Very in-depth and may be too daunting for someone looking to just do quick wireframes or mockups. Could also use updated stencils and more icon choices matching many of the latest UI and UX conventions. Recommendations to others considering the product: Test the ...

Great Documentation Tool, Does Have it's Quirks...
What do you like best? Omnigraffle is a great tool for creating documentation, flow charts, and box/arrow diagrams. It has a variety of tools that are geared towards that usage, and they seem to do the job well. What do you dislike? The program has quite a bit of quirks and bugs that make regular usage rather frustrating. Strange workflows and counter intuitive design seem to bog down the program and make it somewhat frustrating to use, however. Additionally, it doesn't seem to play ...

Full featured but dated
What do you like best? Its been around for a long time, its flexible, and is good for wireframing What do you dislike? It feels like legacy software to me but maybe its because design is my first priority, not wireframing. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you're a designer, there are better options more catered to you. If you primarily work with wireframes and diagramming, this is the granddaddy of them all. What problems are you solving with the product? ...

Great annotation tool
What do you like best? Omnigraffle makes it really easy to build/import simple wireframes and annotate them for presentation. What do you dislike? It's a bit clunky, and now most of what I need to do with it can be done in other programs. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're solving the simple annotation/wireframing tool problem within our company.

One of my key tools!!!
What do you like best? I did the way it handles layers and how I can used one design as a shared layer is so helpful; also how importing stencils has been the best for me and my workflow designs. What do you dislike? the lack of preset canvas sizes in the canvas preferences Recommendations to others considering the product: if you can map the short cut keys to what you're used to to help with cutting down the learning curve if your switching from say indesign to omnigraffle What ...
