Best APM experience

What do you like best? This product has the most critical features that have saved my bacon multiple times. Without New Relic I would have probably been fired for not figuring out what was wrong with critical client production sites. The Java profiling tools were the best I've ever seen. What do you dislike? There's such incredible depth to this tool that it is nearly impossible to figure out all the ins and outs without extensively using it for months at a time. Recommendations to ...

Full supervision on the servers, timely notification of success and failure

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? It doesn’t just ‘monitor’ different aspects of our work, but it also connects them in a comprehensive union. I was pleased to discover that response time can be divided in backend layers (the ‘python, redis, postgres’ network), while quality remains intact. What aspects are problematic or could work better? I was sold on the amazing trial version, it had all of the necessary features and it performed quite well. The painful moment ...

Powerful solution for application monitoring

What do you like best? New Relic is an excellent solution for monitoring the web services/applications, New Relic enables us to measure activity at the macro and micro levels. Essential tool for monitoring application performance

What do you like best? Breakdown of request time spent in various layers (application code, database, etc.) Error rate and response time monitoring. Alerting and ability to hook up to multiple channels (PagerDuty, Slack, email) What do you dislike? Alerts don't include graphs (like DataDog) and often the graphs are helpful. Can be hard to configure alerts to quickly subside. Recommendations to others considering the product: While expensive, the window into your application ...

A tool for metric reporting with admirable performance

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? My favorite parts are the monthly reports on performance, enabling me to supervise the entire workflow of our web development without being directly involved in it. I find he metrics to be accurate and comprehensive, meaning that I can divide them into smaller chunks which are much easier to work with. Overall, very easy and understandable. What aspects are problematic or could work better? I don’t feel competent to answer this ...

Great and easy monitoring, a free version is available

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I like that it didn’t take me days to set it up, and even if I was suspicious at the beginning, I received a feature-packed monitoring system. Performance is outstanding so far, having in mind that we’re only using a free plan to keep an eye on our service. Imagine what an upper plan could do! What aspects are problematic or could work better? Premium must be amazing, but I’m sure it costs an arm and a leg. However, I don’t think ...

The best server analytics I've ever used. Totally recommend!

What do you like best? I like the variety of functionality. Lots of ways to track events and processes on server and web applications. Also we have set up server downtime alerts to make sure our services are 100% available to users. What do you dislike? Pricing is a bit expensive for many types of projects, lets say startups. Some discounts will be great for small and non-profit organizations. Recommendations to others considering the product: You'll need some access right on your ...
