Most bad registrar with backend UI from 1990
Hey, namecheap have a great marketing department, but honestly that is the best on that company. They have a frontend for users like they have the best and they offer the best. But in reality you see how old the infrastructure must be when you see the backend where you have to administrate your domains. Welcome to a time travel back to 1990 :-(But that would be not yet the worst. For our domains we wanna create own nameservers like ns1.Domain.com and ns2.Domain.com with glue entries. But ...

Great company - until you need customer service!
Worst customer service ever. The reps have no technical training and apparently there is no way to escalate an unresolved issue to someone technical (I have tried. I liked namecheap just fine till I ran into a problem transferring the dns to my web host. The rep was unable to offer any suggestions other than to "just keep waiting" even though 5 days had gone by. I finally called my webhost and was given a couple of things to check that solved the issue. Then I realized how dangerous it is ...

Unresponsive, unreliable, unqualified, awful
I almost lost my most important domain name (a dictionary word .com I've held for 16 years when one of their resellers disappeared and they refused to step up and take over the account. Their reseller registrar's site was gone. Emails not working. Phone numbers unanswered and no way to leave a message.I tried for a full week before the expiration to get my stuff sorted and their bad service, bad internal communication, and refusal to fix an obviously broken situation bordered on criminal. ...

The absolute best for domains and hosting.
They reply to support tickets quickly and they know what they are doing, their hosting is really really fast and they have UK data centers and for domain there is nobody cheaper.

Appalling service ! ! !
Appalling Service! My order for a new domain was cancelled without any notice. Only discovered this a few months later when my website designer asked for my domain and found out I didn't actually own it. Contacted them and was told the order was cancelled due to suspected fraudulent activity but no one ever advised me of this. Fortunately the domain was still available so bought it from elsewhere. They don't refund your money and tell you to contact your bank for a refund. DO NOT TRUST THEM !

Worse than 1&1, outsources customer/tech support to Russian or Ukrainian firm
Post any bad review of Namecheap anywhere on the Net and you'll get dozens of fanboys jumping all over you like a pack of sewer rates -- Namecheap fanboys are the Scientologists of domain registrars; they make the Apple cultists look like Cub Scouts in comparison. This is because of their lucrative affiliate program. Anytime someone irrationally defends Namecheap, you can bet they're getting a piece of the action through the referral program. Namecheap supporters have also threatened to ...

Worst customer service in the history of mankind.
Namecheap's customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. They have no phone support, only LiveChat. Their livechat representative is currently taking an average of 6-8 minutes per response. According to our livechat timestamps, it took representative "Alexander R" 8 minutes to ask the two questions: "What is your name?" and "What domain is this referring to?"I have been on livechat with this representative for almost a full hour and they have said less than 10 things. It is almost ...

Good value and very prompt
Have bought a few services from them; domains and SSL and I can't fault it. Even when I asked for a refund for one SSL certificate it was done within an hour on a Sunday evening. Pretty damn good to say the least.
