Totally happy with what it's meant for

Never used hosting or anything other than the domains and domain-related addons from Namecheap. Because come on - they're not a hosting company after all. But what I do know for sure is that domains-wise the service is just awesome! It's exactly what I hoped it would be which gives me a sense of control over how I interact with NC. I love this feeling :- And the prices are ok as well.

Reliable and Cheap

We have used a few domain registrars previously but since finding Namecheap we have been happy to stick with this company. They run lots of promotions through the year to discount domain registrations, transfers and renewals. Around Thanksgiving (US, you can get hold of incredibly cheap .com domains. Highly recommended!

My personal experience with them has been fair. Good prices, good support, and I’ve been with them for nearly a decade. Hosted numerous domains with them and they recently helped me address a billing issue with a couple hours.

Otherwise good, but do not save credit card to Namecheap Education.They'll steal your money automatically, and do not even tell about it.Only tell you should renew it, which doesn't tell it will auto renew.Even if you disable autorenew in the Namecheap.com console, it will still bill it.Use Privacy.com or similar prepaid card system.
