They cancel your purchase and release your domain name without letting you know
On 11/10/2013 I purchased a domain name on Namecheap.com, paid $10.87/year and received a confirmation of account approval from them.Ten days later, I found I couldn't log in with my ID and password, and therefore I contacted Namechaep. As a result, they said I was flagged as fraud by their system, so they locked my account and canceled my purchase. I'm not fraud. Great Customer Service Support!
I have an experience that won't able to renew my domains with my cards. They were very helpful of pointing out the problem and giving me instructions clearly what to do as an alternative solution and even gave me assurance that they're with me along this process until it's done. Just awesome!They were very helpful and replies very fast. Great support team all in all! Continue this great experience! :

Worst. Support. Ever.
I googled this place to find it, just so I could write this review. I've been talking to the namecheap live chat for a total of 4 hours for the past 24 hours. In that time, they've managed to delete my SSL certificate, delete ALL my dns records, leaving my business with a 2 hour downtime recovering the old records. Every time they get asked something, it's a button-text you get back "Please know we are helping you with your problems". I keep getting transfered back and fourth between ...

Terrible Customer Service
Basically, some things were our own fault, but namecheap.com customer service made things worse....much worse. I'm making a long story short. Our old hosting company had a difficult employee who lost the login. The process namecheap asked us to go through to prove we owned the url caused so many issues we will never use them again.We will always use GoDaddy moving forward. Namecheap is terrible to deal with. Things don't need to be this difficult.

Im at a loss at these bad reviews... namecheap has been there ever time i needed them.. ticket replies withing hours, live chat instantly... granted i have had to wait patiently while the live people fixed whatever problems i had, but they have everytime. they even taught me how to use everything.. they point me to articles on their site but happily answer any specific questions... I hold over 50 domains with them and host dozens of them on a single hosting account that cost me just 30 ...

Very very bad web hosting
I am using namecheap hosting since 1 year and my website goes offline 33 times in 8 month. Namecheap receive ddoss attack many times and my website goes offline. my website is also affected in Google rankings and I am very disappointed .
