One of the most unethical companies I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with -- I had to report them to the fraud department at my bank due to multiple unauthorized charges, and their customer service is a joke. No phone number to call, and the folks who eventually email don't care or communicate clearly. I do not recommend giving them your financial data under any circumstances. Disgraceful behavior.

Watch out for your domain searches!

I was checking a domain, and suddenly it got booked by themselves right after! Meaning they are looking for good domains you and other people type in their search box, and if it's a good one, they're registering it for themselves once you leave their platform! Disgusting. Avoid this company !

Run away people! Crappy registrar

I used to like Namecheap but they have changed lately.My .fr domain is due to expire in 10 days and today they deactivated it and put it in redemption period as their auto renewal did not kick in. Not way I can renew it now that it is in redemption period.Only way I can get my domain back up is by paying they extorsion fee of 210 USD. Yes you read that well it is about to cost me 210 USD to renew a freaking domain!!!My advice for you is to just run away and find a better registrar as there ...

Good Prices, Bad Customer Service

NameCheap has great prices for domains, but their customer service is atrocious. Generally they are unable to help, communicate poorly, or it takes 20-30 minutes to get an answer to any basic question. My hosting requested approval from them in order to transfer the domain. I asked if they could do that. It took 20 minutes for them to say that approval was the same as speeding up transfer and they could not do that.

They never warned me that my domain was…

They never warned me that my domain was expiring. I went in 4 days before expiration and they won't let me renew it. They said it's going to be over $200 - and it's not even expired yet.I've been a customer for many years now. This is the way they treat their customers.

Do NOT register your domains with this company!

I transferred my domain to you to take advantage of their offer of domain registration for £2.86 for 1 year.They tried to charge me $9.58 to renew my domain which is more expensive than my current registrar.At the very least this it dishonest advertising!

Well, never thought i would never experience a hung-up from the customer service. I thought they're there to convince up to join their company. At the end of the day they're the face of the company as it is with them that we share problems ask questions. Maybe we have our own strange questions but in the end not all of us are high-end techs. This Alexander support agent didn't even said why disconnected the chat line. Anyway... there are companies out there...Good luck ...

To be honest

To be honest, it is the best hosting!Many people here are bragging about worst hosting, but believe me, i tried it for 3 of my websites and all of them working so fine, and customer support is very instant and the support guys are very humble and nice. I am surely going to stick with them for years now.
