Account Hacked and Won't Give Us Access
Do not purchase your domain through namecheap.com. They have terrible customer service and they don't take any calls! All support is done through email and they take forever to respond. We had to deal with their risk management department because someone hacked our domain and email account. We showed them proof of ownership by sending them the order summary since we purchased the domain in 2014. CANNOT GET THROUGH TO THEIR SUPPORT…
CANNOT GET THROUGH TO THEIR SUPPORT TEAM. It says on their website that they have a 2 hour response time, but I’ve been waiting 24 hours for an urgent enquiry regarding an inability to access my account and domain names expiring tomorrow without up-to-date payment details. I don’t know what to do!

A fraudulent payment from this company (who I have never heard of was taken from my PayPal account. I reported it to PayPal and they agreed it was fraudulent.

Used them for 5+ years, but..
I have used namecheap for over 5 for many years, for managing domain names. They were very good, over the past couple of years they added new products such as email and hosting. My assumption was they would provide an excellent service. But this is not the case.Anytime I have purchased a product like hosting or email from them, it automatically changes the existing settings, so anything you have set up, stops working. for me personally namecheap is good and fine
For what I experienced for 1-2 years in namecheap hosting. 5 domain hosting in shared hosting, 1domain in easyWP .My website is fine. Support is also good and professional. 1 month before my domain expired they gave a warning regularly. For some domains, when renew they offer a discount. I also never experienced spam problems.
