1 star but should be 0, I have been with namecheap for 9 years and things were good at the start. This spring and summer was terrible, support was awful and problems were created by them for me, they would rely to much on providing knowledge links that led to unrelated situations. Even when transfering domains out their process was all last minute leaving errors on receiving side of the new hosting service accounts.Save a Headache STAY AWAY until they go thrugh some kind of overhaul at least!

Namecheap journey from 2015-2020At the start Namecheap service was really good everything was fine. They have good quality service but these days there live chat support take bundle of hours just to verify your account.I think they have recruited lazy guys as the old agents were really fast in solving the tickets.

Domain suspended due to a verification…

Domain suspended due to a verification process I did not appear to be warned about. First I knew was my colleagues saying my site was insecure. Now that I've verified my site, namecheap have put out their own page while the site propagates. It lists them and states I've been suspended. Nice little advert for them and a stack of embarrassment for me. They're cheap for a reason.

Unclear billing, difficult to contact

On the whole, I've found Namecheap to be reliable, cheap and easy to use. One thing that really irks me, though, is the lack of clarity in their billing, which makes it extremely difficult to work out which invoice is for which service. I've been with Namecheap for 13 years and typically have around 100 domains in my portfolio.Save a few minor issues with getting DNS setup correctly and the like, I have never had any issues with Namecheap or their service.But I currently have some domains that are about to expire.
