I'm one of those people that are…
I'm one of those people that are generally self-sufficient. I chose a VPS that was Centos 6, blank because I'm capable of installing an open-source control panel and the lamp stack with Nginx reverse proxy all on my own. Customer service was on point. Processed a refund for me and even got an email from the CEO. Good company.

I have been using NameCheap for 5 years…
I have been using NameCheap for 5 years now after a number of fiascos with HostMonster and BlueHost related companies. We have multiple websites and it's been mostly positive using Pro plans. Down time has been negligible, but it does happen sometimes as noted by my JetPack plugins. Overall if your sites are for blogs and small business that do not rely on the webpage for e-commerce it's a great choice. Richard Kirkendall claims Namecheap.com has "Rockstar customer service". My company spent over $2,700 to purchase an address, the money has been charged to the company credit card, and almost a week later Namecheap "SUSPENDS" the transaction and demands my personal information - SSN, DoB, and similar. Do Not Buy Hosting Service from Them Even if They Offer for Free
1. They didnt tell me that their basic Shared Hosting plan didnt permit Elementor to be used.2. They took 5 days to migrate a single 17 pages wordpress website.3. They are scam artists
They are scam artists. They bait and hook you into switching your domain to them and get a free year... Yeah BS you get nothing free, site is a scam don't waste your time go to a more reputable place. No one to talk to but an auto bot. takes hours to get anywhere just for them to say we're sorry.
