I don’t understand all the bad reviews

I don’t understand all the bad reviews, I’ve been getting websites hosting and registered with Namecheap on and off (whenever the need arises, personally and for projects) for the last 10 or so years. Never had any issues and customer service was always responsive.

The most terrible company to use very bad experience, they take my money, don't pay anything to this company and be careful if you don't want to lose your money and time. They don't want to refund your money and terrible customer support and services.

Blocked my order for "fraudulent transaction", which was not. My domains were stuck for 2 weeks with them, no response at all.

Private Email full of issues

Did not experience any problems so far with Namecheap's web hosting. Private Email, their email service, on the other hand, is riddled with issues. Professional clients are not receiving my emails, emails are ending up in junk folders (even after completing all the necessary coding), maintenance taking place during working days (Europe), sometimes I don't even receive emails from clients... This is all extremely unprofessional! Will cancel my subscription.

I have found Namecheap to be good over the last 2 or 3 years I have been using them. Not the fastest load times, but they aren't too far behind. The interface is a bit clunky. For your money you get quite a bit of storage space, but remember a lot of hosts give you "unlimited" space but very limited number of files. With Stellar Business I get 300,000 which isn't huge. Watch those plugins that have 1000's of small files; they will gobble up your quota on the server.

I have tried paying them 20x (not kidding) and every one of them failed. When I finally got the chance to pay them my credit card was charged twice and the package did not even renewed. Also you have to talk to about 3x people in the customer support to get to talk to someone who can actually make a decision.Definitely not a reliable.I am not recommending this service to my clients anymore.I have also spend 4 hours with a problem that could take 15 min because the support was unreliable.

Poor Support and Spam-filled shared servers.

Have managed over 50 NameCheap accounts. Quality of support has slipped to a sludge of copy and paste answers and apologies for failures. Even that comes slow. Email from NameCheap hosting servers in USA are blocked completely by T-Online due to the overwhelming number of spam accounts on their shared servers.

Weak customer service

Weak customer service. Answers in drips and drabs. I waited for a long time for my answers, and they just left without answering my questions. I already had two items in the cart, but will have to shop elsewhere.

Poor refund policy on Wordpress hosting

I was a loyal customer to Namecheap for years but I will be bringing my business elsewhere. I had hosting with their EasyWP service and I hadn't been using it. They took money out of my account to renew it and they barely sent any emails to let me know it was up for renewal or that it was on auto renewal. I only noticed a few days later and when I went to cancel it, they told me that they could cancel it but not give me a refund. What is the point of that? Very poor customer service in this ...
