PERFECT for domain-only

PERFECT for domain-only, great prices and great service via Live Chat Support! You do need to read the emails they send though... I defected on one renewal and needed to reactivate at a higher fee, but the service was good and honestly I should have done better as they repeatedly encouraged via reminders I didn't really read.

Run by SCAMMERS

Run by SCAMMERS. The government should shut this down and put the owners in jail.

Not bad

Not bad. Good deals but antiquated platform. Beware of the domain renewal. You might pay $5 the first year but it becomes 30 the next one

Beyond terrible. Avoid.

Beyond terrible. Avoid at all costs. It's truly difficult to explain how bad their service, servers, and support is.While the site hosted with them was working it was beyond slow and continuously up and down. Then on October 22nd, they lost some of their servers (or something happened) and the site went down. They lost all backups, nothing worked, and support only answers with copy/pasted generic messages.Beyond bad! AVOID

I always have a very clean email inbox

I always have a very clean email inbox, but ever since I entered my email into Namecheap site I’ve been getting random promotional emails from all types of sketchy companies. The only places I’ve entered my email last month was on Namecheap’s site, now I’m subscribed to random newsletters and marketing emails. I spelt my name internationally wrong so I know when I get these spam emails what site they’re a result of. If you don’t want your information sold use someone else.

Hosting got hacked - somebody got into namecheap and took over my hosting and three websites! Namcheap couldn't be bothered to resolve or investigate despite numerous request, emails and pleads. Developers and consumers beware you data is not safe with namecheap!

the worst domain registrar i've ever…

the worst domain registrar i've ever seen(. I registered 3 accounts, 1 for me , 2 for my clients in .work and .space zones (nothing special, just fitness and my personal web pages). This summer they were suddenly blocked and I still haven't known why.. All my requests to their support were ignored. I moved to the another provider and don't have any problems now. p.s. I didn't send spam or etc. It was just landing pages without even a backend.
