NAMECHEAP ARE SCAMMERS
Simply, I wanted to host a website.I purchased a plan.Within 12 hours they had locked my account, claiming credit card fraud.Now I am left with a locked account and they have stolen my money.They refused to answer emails and despite promising to ring me back, they would not.Great little scam they have operating.You purchase, they lock your account and steal your money.AVOID THESE PEOPLE.

This service is terrible and not worth…
This service is terrible and not worth paying for. I spent 6 hours creating 2 business cards on their site, with graphics and all, then when it came to ordering to London, their delivery address form has a 'State' field which does not work, preventing the order from being complete. After spending hours chatting with their customer service, they opened a case and did not get back to me after 2 months, and when I chatted again with them, they still had not fixed the issue and cannot ship to ...

Poor Customer Service, Refuse to Accept Blame
Previously things were good, but they have gone downhill. Today I spent over 2 hours talking to 3 people and everyone blamed my email provider for their technical issue. I did not receive any advanced warning of payments, but I received invoices taking the money out of my account, weeks in advance (normally it is 30 days but I am talking about even longer than that). I am relocating to another hosting provider before they do anymore damage.

BAD: Namecheap holding a non-profit website hostage of a loyal paying customer since 2014
A non-profit website is hosted on Namecheap. For past year I have been requesting access to the account as technical contact to update the billing details to new bank/credit cards. So far no action can be taken since Risk Management will call me - and never have done so, despite frequent contacts, chats, e-mails, and a promise they will call me back to verify. My experience with namecheap is so far very good. Even their domain prices are not cheap like the name tells, it's ok because they have the best domain management tool, privacy shield and excellent customer support...

Namecheap is my 3rd favourite place for registering domains. What can I say? they're cheap and great. People have been having problems with their hosting so I wouldn't advise going with that But in truth, I've never hosted with them so I'm not qualified to say anything else about it. I've heard their support is good, though, I've never needed to use them lol.All in all a great place to register domains and certainly cheap haha.
