If you want your private data protected don't use this site!
I bought a domain name from this company and I no longer wanted it I wanted to cancel the order within a few days of purchasing it which they ignored the email of me requesting the refund! I then spoke to someone on chat who lied and said they replied when they never did! They said they cannot provide a refund so I said fine please delete my account and all my data! They closed my account and said they had to send my info off to get the data deleted!A few days later they said they cannot ...

Just from looking today
Just from looking today, this site currently hosts two scam websites (GTstox.com and halifax.your-newdevice.com). Both website are obviously fraudulent but Namecheap host then and make money from their illegal activities. If these sites are taken down then happy to amend my review

Do not use this company or you can lose your domains
They did not send the emails out about renewal then put my domain into redemption a week before expiry. They then told me it would be $216.98 to renew the domain. What do you call that?Seems like extortion to me.. Don't trust these scammers praying on high expiration fees.

Buggy system
Its been 2 months, and every time i purchase a domain i get an error saying "Some items on the list weren't processed correctly."Complaint multiple time on support but they failed to resolve it and every time i ask they said their technical team is working and its a bug in the system.Well good luck with the buggy system.

Great customer service/technical support.
I have been using namecheap for domains and hosting for years and I just don’t understand the bad reviews. Their prices are great and their technical support/customer service is one of the best I’ve received from any company in any sector. Their staff seem to be able to answer any question in loads of detail and I’ve never had an issue that they haven’t solved really quickly. Highly recommended.

Absolutely terrible company, I think they are actually a scam! Thier site is so outdated! And they refuse to give refunds also terrible customer service!

Someone had stolen my client's web site…
Someone had stolen my client's web site and used Namecheap.com to register a very similar domain name. As IT for my client, they asked me to help shut down or let the authorities know. When I tried to confront Namecheap.com They could not do anything about it! They could have easily shut down the site but chose not to. I'm very disappointed in the lack of care.
