Are you using MURAL?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Mural works best for distributed teams running synchronous workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions where real-time co-editing matters. Before shortlisting, verify that your team can commit to live sessions—asynchronous workflows (leaving comments on static boards) feel clunky compared to tools like Miro or Figma. Check whether Mural's template ...Read more

"Great tool to get the audience engaged!"
What do you like best about Mural? The ability to co-create with colleagues and clients in one single board, good user interface and very easy to use and to explain others how to use. I love the facilitators superpowers, such Voting Sessions, Summon and Private Mode. What do you dislike about Mural? The Workspace Members management could be improved, it takes time to Re-activate guests if you have 200+ guests in one single Workspace. Recommendations to others considering Mural: MURAL is a ...

"Great platform for collaboration, constantly being updated and innovating"
What do you like best about Mural? Pros of Mural - The best of mural is to enable a large number of people to collaborate at the same time. - Platform is constantly evolving and adding new features that have both the facilitator and the participants in mind. I particularly like the icons and images bar built in to the tool so you can pull assets straight into the canvas - makes the process of building a mural much easier. - The tools and commands are really intuitive and I now expect other ...

"MURAL is the go-to especially in a virtual workspace"
What do you like best about Mural? I like the intuitive nature of MURAL. I have found myself learning how to use the tool pretty easily just by hands on trying things out. I also like how MURAL is the virtual version of brainstorming in a group meeting. What do you dislike about Mural? I would like to see MURAL incorporated with other software that I already use, like Microsoft Office, Tableau, and other tools. What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? I am solving ...

"Great way to collaborate AND facilitate"
What do you like best about Mural? You don't have to organize the information on the mural screen as much as you will want to organize it in the outline. I have described it as the most unorganized way of being organized. What do you dislike about Mural? The scroll bar on the right out of the outline is too small and hard to make contact with. I end up moving items in my outline rather than scrolling down. And when you double click on the screen you create a sticky note. Not a game changer ...

"Mural is an Essential Tool"
What do you like best about Mural? I like the flexibility that is offered and the space to be creative. I feel like there are new ideas for using Mural all the time and it has made all the difference in the online training classes I lead. I consistently get feedback about how much my participants enjoyed using Mural for activities and being able to refer back to the Mural boards later. What do you dislike about Mural? Mural could use some improvements around organization for those of us who ...

"I use mural everyday to collaborate virtually with other team members"
What do you like best about Mural? I use mural everyday to collaborate virtually with other team members. I like that we can all be in the same program at the same time in real time! What do you dislike about Mural? The least helpful thing I can think of Mural does, is it does not allow us to use any color I want. As an Interior Designer I want to use this as a presentation ready program, but in my presentations, I want to be able to change the text or draw in a different color and it seams ...

"MURAL is an intuitive canvas to ignite thoughts, creativity and build empathy remotely"
What do you like best about Mural? It is an endless canvas. Every time I open a new project, I stare at it for a moment. Then ideas and thoughts start to pop out in my mind. I think it encourages creativity, a few months ago, I sketched in a paper, painted the draw with another tool, and added it as a PNG to MURAL. In the end every mural is unique. You can see engagement in real-time. It is an excellent tool for storytelling It is an intuitive next step for users who already work with ...

"Fantastic functionality - a must have for digital businesses!"
What do you like best about Mural? Simple to use, easy to digest and a great way to encourage people to collaborate with a design-thinking style approach. What do you dislike about Mural? Microsoft app isn't as responsive as the browser version (which is a surprise). Easy to get confused between moving the display across a mural and moving free-objects. What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? Improved strategic goals through the business
