Are you using MURAL?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Mural works best for distributed teams running synchronous workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions where real-time co-editing matters. Before shortlisting, verify that your team can commit to live sessions—asynchronous workflows (leaving comments on static boards) feel clunky compared to tools like Miro or Figma. "Great Tool for Whiteboard Collaboration"
What do you like best about Mural? The thing I like best in Mural is the ability to easily share a working whiteboard with different colored post-it notes on various topics. Both registered users, as well as guests, can come together to address complex issues and drive consensus. On top of that ability, Mural has a long list of available templates, such as a product launch template, to help walk a team through project efforts. Easy-to-use controls, flexible views of the whiteboard, and ...

"Great product for team collaboration"
What do you like best about Mural? Mural has all the tools that team collaboration needs. Personally, I feel it works much better than the physical whiteboard. Through Mural remote teams collaborate on the same project/meeting/workshop that the physical whiteboard can not have the capability. I like how Mural team keeps focusing on users and improving the product. What do you dislike about Mural? I don't dislike anything so far. Sometimes there were some connection issues, but I think that ...

"Remote facilitation better than in-person"
What do you like best about Mural? I love the ability to actively engage 45+ people in remote facilitation with this tool, and be able to walk away with the session completely documented. No more need for copying or summarizing multiple paper flip charts with hundreds of loose post-it notes! What do you dislike about Mural? It is a challenge to transcribe information if the consumer wants all of the material captured in the mural into a Word or Excel file, for further consumption or ...

"A Wonder for Workshops!"
What do you like best about Mural? It makes virtual worshops so easy and interactive. Everyone can interact live, you can have timed activities and I love the voting feature! What do you dislike about Mural? It takes a bit of walking through to get less technologically savvy folks to understand how it works. Like skipping to different boards or even creating new sticky notes can be a bit tricky for new-comers. But I have found with a mini-training session before workshops everyone is able ...

"Great way to visually collaborate with teammates"
What do you like best about Mural? I like that you can view the same board with everyone on your time and see real-time changes made to the board What do you dislike about Mural? It can take awhile to get to know all the features What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? No problems. The biggest benefit is that more than one person can make changes at the same time. My favorite feature is the "follow feature" so that instead of having someone share their screen in a ...

"MURAL is the perfect platform for problem solving and brain storming!"
What do you like best about Mural? It allows me to generate conversation and critical thinking through the use of visuals. Participants are able to see things come to life in real-time, and as a result, we are more productive than ever before. What do you dislike about Mural? I feel the types of boxes/notes/etc. that you can use in MURAL are limited. I'm hoping they expand on the types of content that you can add to help tell your story. What problems is Mural solving and how is that ...

"WFH Whiteboarding Success"
What do you like best about Mural? I love that Mural gave us the option to whiteboard process mapping in the WFH environment. What do you dislike about Mural? The cheeky characters confuse new users that come in as guests. Recommendations to others considering Mural: Having the characters be optional or swapped out- some people do not like being certain animals. What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? We are solving the need for a WFH solution and have been very ...
