A Review of Ms.SharePoint

What do you like best? Microsoft SharePoint has been in use in our organization for close to four years. It is a tool that has enabled us to share files in real-time by providing a central point in which people can easily share files. I love that SharePoint provides us with storage services. It is a place where one is able to centralize documents making it easy for one to retrieve files and also easy to make changes if need be. It has a good versioning system. One can easily ...

Challenging, but can be very beneficial

What do you like best? Similar to google doc. You are able to share file easier. Can work on documents from different computers. Saves automatically. What do you dislike? It has a learning curve. When accessing a file, you try to go back and it takes you back to the home page and not the folder you retrieved the file from. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Able to have documents in one place for other student leaders to use.

All encompassing software!

What do you like best? Microsoft Sharepoint is able to act as my companies intranet. I can easily save, edit and locate all of my necessary documents. I also love that I can share files with my teammates without having to email them! What do you dislike? The only issue I have come across so far is that documents can only be edited by one person at a time. If you're in a document and make edits, you will need to save your work for the file to be updated successfully and viewable to ...

Helpful for large companies, but too many sites can create cluttered

The amount of pages that can quickly add up, creating clutter and a lot of difficulty when searching for specific documents or sites within SharePoint.
