A very useful tool for sharing Microsoft documents

What do you like best? You can work simultaneously on excel, word, PowerPoint... What do you dislike? I don’t like that the structure of finding documents in web is not organized as we use to with explorer Recommendations to others considering the product: Explore all the possibilities it gave you. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? As a team we can work simultaneously on documents and really access it everywhere, anywhere ...

Useful, but a little clunky

What do you like best? Sharepoint is very useful for sharing files within our organization, as well as with others outside. It offers collaboration on files with multiple staff editing at the same time. What do you dislike? Group pages do not default to the documents page. This makes users click multiple times to get to the files they need, unless all the other pages are removed from the group. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Local professional data shares

What do you like best? This solution is a great local install we use to share files internally on our network it gives great permission options for allowing users specific rule sets. Also to archive backup and hold documents is a very useful resource. The Internal web page offering out of the box is great but for more advanced setups can be too basic. What do you dislike? Customization of the pages and rule sets are quite cumbersome. You need to download the separate tool to make ...

Advanced report sharing and collaboration tool

What do you like best? The best thing about Microsoft SharePoint is that it creates a more organized system to upload and create reports. users do not have to have their reports sent on their mails or shared folders. This also is a big advantage for companies, since there is only one file on the server and access and roles are different. What do you dislike? Microsoft SharePoint has one big drawback that I am going to highlight in this review. If you are familiar with macros and ...

An effective content management and sharing tool.

Best for Integration within a team

What do you like best? The best to share files and documents within a closed team even with the free version of the software What do you dislike? Licensing fee for the full updated version is expensive even for a small business like us Recommendations to others considering the product: Ease of use and very flexible for intranet purposes within a closed team. When your organisation is not too big and only has a few people in the team at different locations , and just with a ...

Pretty good

What do you like best? It is a great way to share files with multiple people and has the ability to allow different access to files What do you dislike? It can be quite cumbersome when checking files in since they needed to be checked in individually. Files also are not visible to other users when checked out. Some files can get listed as being checked out by you but cannot get checked in or deleted. Recommendations to others considering the product: While there are some ...
