Microsoft Project - Review

What do you like best? Microsoft project is an easy to use scheduling program. It is easy to set up and as long as you link all of the items together in logical sequence you can see the critical path. What do you dislike? This program does not calculate calendar days, so it is hard to get a true schedule unless you show the non working days as working days so they get counted in the total number of scheduled days. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Useful Project Management Tool

What do you like best? Project is a great tool for managing your projects and keeping yourself and your team organised during what can be a chaotic process with many tasks ongoing at the same time. I have found our team to be more organised, and more importantly, in control, when managing using Microsoft Project. What do you dislike? Project is a complex tool. It is very feature rich, but complex. I recommend going on a Microsoft Project course with a training company like QA before ...

Microsoft Project

What do you like best? Microsoft Project operates similarly to all other Microsoft programs. What do you dislike? Though MS Project is comparable to the other programs, project has some difficult shortcuts, and details you need to develop in order to fully comprehend the program. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Project helps me solve time management projects, and compare them to the cost savings analysis we develop.

Portfolio Management

What do you like best? The options for visually communicating information are varied and numerous. What do you dislike? It took some practice getting used to. There is certainly a learning curve. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? When we were re-structuring/ re-branding/ re-imagining this was a way to communicate easily the data each department gathered, and the result that incremental changes produced.

It's super convenient for me to lay out my projects and it's easy to explain the deadlines to my colleagues. The important thing for me is to show the time, effort and hours that have been invested into a project. This software helps me achieve those goals. What do you dislike? I haven't used the software to its complete potential- so far so good : What business problems are ...

Microsoft Project

What do you like best? I like that I rarely have to adjust my timelines! I just change one date, and all the following dates change also. What do you dislike?
