Tool is very useful for Project Management.
What do you like best? I like the user friendly functionality such as how the tool identifies errors such as dates or precursor or predecessor data issues. I also like the Gantt charts and other reporting capabilities. It can also export to Excel. In addition, I create PDFs for those without access to it. What do you dislike? Microsoft Project makes it easy to streamline projects and track progress
What do you like best? Microsoft Project has been incredibly helpful for our tracking setup. Easy to understand reporting makes tracking projects very clear. What do you dislike? Some users have had difficulty with understanding Gantt charts, they don't really contain the most meaningful information. Most helpful for waterfall style reporting. Microsoft Project and Project Server
What do you like best? Using Microsoft Project combined with Project Server, we are able to having reporting abilities that allow for tracking our queue of work (both current and projected. This gives us amazing visibility to our resource capacity and allows us to resolve scheduling conflicts on an enterprise level. What do you dislike? Keep track of all the planes in the sky with Project
What do you like best? Project allows me to report task completion against forecast, estimate completion time of deliverables and manage resource assignments. I love it for long term resource planning. What do you dislike? Im so used to Excel that there are enough differences in the way they behave that it's frustrating. Project works well for linking dates to see timelines.
What do you like best? Microsoft based products work best with other products. Most people use project so it works well with other companies. What do you dislike? Some of the symbols are hard to understand and some lines are hard to link to other lines. A tutorial is needed. Great tool
What do you like best? Great way to track a linear project life cycle, with clearly definable relationships between tasks and subtasks. Ability to input holidays and adjust timelines easily.
