Familiar MIcrosoft features unsure about usefullness

What do you like best? Offers a variety of display options for reports that are different from what you would typically see. What do you dislike? If you are proficient with Excel it may seem unnecessary to have this product. True for myself, I almost always prefer a well made spreadsheet. Recommendations to others considering the product Fully evaluate the software before purchase, make sure you don't already have something in place that can fulfill the requirements. For the cost of ...

The Standard Project Management Tool - Not the newest but the standard

What do you like best? Works as intended, powerful enough to do almost anything yet easy enough to set up small projects on the fly. Easy to import and export data to other Microsoft or non microsoft packages as needed. Has the ability to integrate with tools such as Onepager making it more powerful than the isolated product alone. What do you dislike? Wish it had better built in Visualization capability like One Pager offers as an add on. It does have some quirky behavior at time when ...

Great Scheduling Program

What do you like best? I love the visualization of this program to be able to schedule out a project and then be able to see each task and how they relate to each other as well as see what the timeline is for a project. What do you dislike? I dislike how difficult it is to set up the predecessors and how tasks relate to each other. I have had quite a few issues trying to schedule out a project and keeping dates in line with what actually needs to be done. Recommendations to others ...

Awesome software for Project Management

What do you like best? I love how easy it is to keep up with team members throughout the project duration and have track of what is to be done next and love the different type of representation possible like graphical, pie chart and other cost analysis. What do you dislike? I felt I needed to take a training course to understand the full capabilities of MS Project. Some features are easy to learn but I did feel confident using the program until I had taken the training. ...

Microsoft Project & Portfolio Management review

What do you like best? Being a project coordinator and having tried so many other ways of managing projects, Microsoft Project Online was really what I was looking for in terms of a Project Management tool. Our organization has tried so many tools over the years, but at the end of the day, Project really offers a lot. Being able to download the desktop version as well as working online is great. The best part is the tool itself though. Being able to visual projects and put it all into ...

MS Project 2016 gets the job done

What do you like best? Integration with MS Office suite of products What do you dislike? Limited convenience and functionality compared with Oracle Primavera, for example Recommendations to others considering the product Good to look around and evaluate, depending upon your budget.
