For advanced users, it produces some great at-a-glace reports to help track projects. What do you dislike? Given the complexity of the tool's features and functions, it takes a considerable time to not only learn it but use it on a normal basis to get the most accurate and detailed project plan and schedules. Eh, not my favorite software
What do you like best? Well since there was not any software till in place before using this actually being able to see our task and deadlines is nice. As well the ability to stagger tasks and budget within. What do you dislike? I'm not a Microsoft fan, haven't been for almost 4 years now. As with everything these days the software has quirks that is always requiring someone to research since the help section isn't very helpful. We also can't put in the exact dates we want, we've ...

The standard in Project Management
What do you like best? I would say the thing I like best is the fact this is the standard across most project management organizations. Everyone understands MS Project and how it is used. What do you dislike? Maybe it's because I've used older versions, but the UI isn't as intuitive as I'd like it to be. Recommendations to others considering the product As I've used older versions, I cannot speak to newer versions, but I would say this: Make sure you've got your work breakdown ...

Although fairly intuitive, there are many steps for basic things, such as changing the working schedule from 5 to 7 days. You also have to toggle modes to see float, critical paths, etc. Recommendations to others considering ...
