Microsoft Project
What do you like best? Project is simple and highly accessible, even for people who haven't used much productivity software before. It's user-friendly, visually streamlined, and collaboration-happy. What do you dislike? Project isn't the worst collaboration tool in the world, but it has one huge drawback: there's collaborative productivity software that is basically just as good available for free. It's called Google Drive. There's almost no functionality in Project that I absolutely ...

Easy Project Management tool which makes project management so simple
What do you like best? Endless tools which give me the flexibility to plan, execute and document all aspects of my management. Great visualization, simple learning curve and gets work done with minimal efforts if you are a Microsoft product user. What do you dislike? For any tool that I use, I look into the UI factor. Though Microsoft keeps it similar for all the software it produces, I guess Project requires special attention and a little variation. There are a lot of crucial ...

Windows
What do you like best? Simplistic design and forward technology, It is easy to use and has good overall performance. I especially like the live thumbnails and the improved ways to organize and implement files. It is reliable, straightforward and although superseded by 8 and 10, 7 functions perfectly for most uses. What do you dislike? I believe the overall product is good and reliable. I do not like that ctl-e brings up my computer instead, however this is a small price to pay for a ...

Excellent project management and development software
What do you like best? The ability to make a gantt chart with advanced dependencies and timeline management. Project really helps me keep my intricate projects on time and tasks managed. What do you dislike? The way resource hours are tracked and adding/replacing dependencies can get a bit frustrating at times. Project, though extremely full featured, does seem a bit aged. Recommendations to others considering the product You should definitely purchase a guide for use of and have an ...

Very basic
What do you like best? Ability to see roll up completion percentages, ability to see each step of project and where it fits within the timeline, as well as predecessors affecting different items. What do you dislike? There are other softwares that have more functionality, giving other users the ability to make changes, and reminding stakeholders of their due dates and action items automatically. It is also finicky when updating items, sometimes line numbers are not sequential or there ...
