Great Planning and Project Management Tool

What do you like best? ts simple, intuitive and easy to use. You can have resource availability, their work schedule, skills everything built into the software. Activity start and end date, Predecessor and successor activity and relationships between activities can be mapped easily. What do you dislike? There tends to be a learning curve to most of the non-standard Office products. Learning to use them efficiently due to the wide feature set can be daunting and overwhelm project ...

The best project management tool - it's the whole package

What do you like best? MS Project can be scaled to any size project and can output any type of representation or diorama needed for clients, executives, or other stakeholders. It's a universally recognized application and thus, makes it is easy to collaborate with others and share information. What do you dislike? It is a complex tool and not entirely intuitive. This is not the application that one can just 'figure out' with use and practice. Without instruction or guidance of some ...

PPM have great capability if used to its full extend...!!

What do you like best? It has the ability to roll out activities and tasks to summary/project/program level activities, and also allow drill downs into detailed tasks at the project level What do you dislike? The application is quite complex to use. As far as i have seen usually one or two individuals in an organization are very proficient in the application, and then it depends on how good they are in cascading the information down to the PMs. What business problems are you solving ...

Previous user of Microsoft Project

What do you like best? I liked that there was a Gantt chart view and that it was more of a planning tool rather than a team communication tool. It allowed each team member to create a project and plan out each item/deliverable and chart the due dates. What do you dislike? I didn't like that it didn't let me easily message and assign pieces of a project to other team members. I could put in that certain team members were responsible, but I couldn't talk when the in real time, assign ...

Take the complex and simplify it with this tool.

What do you like best? It is extremely intuitive and offers a good balance of usability and complexity. It is used to track projects of different sizes. I like the feature which helps to visualize task and resource scheduling. It is good at tracking milestones at a high level and for assigning resources to particular tasks. Also, a good fit if you use a waterfall model. What do you dislike? Due to protanopia (color-blindness I find it difficult to distinguish among certain colors used ...

Streamlined System with many hidden options

What do you like best? I love the simple streamlined visual experience of the programs. The program has a clean feel to it, and the projects I create are very eye pleasing and easy to understand. Also I like that you can create very simple quick projects, or dive deep into the huge options available and create a very complex project as well. What do you dislike? At first I disliked learning the program. I wish I had more or a guide. This programs options are limitless and I had a hard ...
