great tool for project management and scheduling

What do you like best? great tool to set up and follow up project activities coordination, scheduling, and discussing project productivity. Allows for resource planning and understanding key blockers. What do you dislike? Sometimes it is an overkill for smaller/simpler projects. The gantt views are either too broad or to detailed. A more executive view or summary timeline is necessary. Recommendations to others considering the product: great tool, enterprise grade ...

Microsoft Project and Sharepoint

What do you like best? Microsoft is at the top of the game when it comes to Project software. What do you dislike? Smaller simple projects are overwhelmed with the number of options. Would be nice to have a pared-down version of the application for smaller projects Recommendations to others considering the product: Assess the type of projects that are available on the market. MS Project is great for a large and complex project but maybe overkill for any of the projects that ...

Great for Project Overview high level

What do you like best? What I like the most is the creation of a proper Project Management plan that provides overview of each step/phase/task in the project, who is responsible for it, the cost of work, the progress as a detailed, but also high-level overview. What do you dislike? The Project Manager needs to do many of the steps manually because nowadays companies for tasks and issue tracking use software that is not integrated with MS Project and Portfolio management. ...

What do you like best? Ability to add and remove successors and predecessors, see the gantt chart in a matter of few clicks What do you dislike? I don't like resource planning of the tool, it kind of confuses an individual, I understand we can see the overburdened individuals with a red color symbol but it should also provides us the visibility about the bandwidth precisely to avoid running into deadlock of overburdened resources over and over again.
