OneNote syncs across all of my devices, has touch input so I can type using a stylus on my laptop or my phone, and I can categorize in folders and subcategorize. There's a search functionality so I can find the note I'm looking for, copy in things from outside OneNote and it sometimes auto-includes a link from where I copied it from (like a URL), and it's outrageously intuitive. The ability Freely design and organize whatever content I can imagine is great!, You can sync and retrieve the notes from any desktop with office installed. I build diagrams, instructionals for co-workers, and take notes on a whole variety of topics. The notebooks can be shared with several people so you can have multiple people to update data.
