"I have a love hate relationship with OneNote"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? You can really go in-depth in your organization on OneNote. The colors, the tabs, the notebooks, the pages - there are multiple levels of depth so you feel like you're not being pigeon holed in to organizing your notes a specific way. There's a lot of freedom to organize in a way that makes the most sense to you. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? With the freedom for organization comes great responsibility. I often found myself ...

"All the things in one place"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? It can sync to pretty much anywhere on my computer that is Microsoft based, which is lucky because that is what my company operates through. Converting emails to PDFs or linking to content on a shared drive, if you set it up correctly, OneNote can be like your daily dashboard. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? I think it's a little complex. For a workforce that is still predominantly baby boomers, while millennials do their best to ...

"Corporate use between small team of communications/customer service professionals. "

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? This is one of the most recommended softwares throughout my company. Small teams create personal OneNotes that we share amongst ourselves for keeping up on relevant templates to work with customers on, as well as forms to submit information to each other. I enjoy that my team and I are able to add to each tab with initials to see who is putting in what information. It's wonderfully easy to organize and the bright tabs help with easy navigation. ...

"OneNote - easy to share"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I really like that I can upload a pdf and use highlighting and pen tools. I can upload a file of our daily associates and mark off performance goals and highlight key associates. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? I'm sure there's other functions I'm missing out on! I just know the basics, but I'm sure it could serve a larger purpose. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote: Great when working with PDF documents. What ...

"Plan your business and take your notes everywhere"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? The Microsoft OneNote app is available on all platforms I use (Windows, mac OS, iOS, Android, etc). It's like a complete library and syncs very fast between devices. Your notes are rich notes, you can insert screenshots, you can draw, insert photos taken with your smartphone, etc, and they're easy to edit. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? Since it's a complete library it's very important to organize your notes, if you don't know ...

"Free but still very good"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? The fact thats its free. I have used many similar tools like Evernote oder Wunderlist and Microsoft has done a well job. It has all the basic capabilitys that you need, it works on all devices that you have like iPhone or Android, and I really trust Microsoft more in terms of privacy than for example Google with their Keep espacially if Im doing business. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? Microsoft stores everything in the cloud so I ...

"Didn't think much of it but once I started it is great"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I didn't think it was that useful when I first used it but once you commit to using it, One Note is insanely powerful. all notes are searchable and easy to organize. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? It would be nice if some of the table functions of excel were added. Converting pictures to text could be easier. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote: Works great and easy to use. What problems is Microsoft OneNote ...

"OneNote on Surface Pro 3"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? The simplicity of the program, it is easy to write, erase, edit, paste figures, etc. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? There should be more line spacing options, and the switching between full screen, screen with menu bar, side bar and others should be easier. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote: I haven't tried other apps that allow writing in surface pro 3, but I'd definitely recommend the use of MS ...

"Streamlined archive and easy to view"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? Ability to categorize and maintain a true archive of notes. I also love that I can create shared notebooks with my direct reports to maintain a living document of action items and accomplishments. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? I dislike that I can't see a reflection of when notes were last updated right above the title area. What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you? Transparency of needs with team ...

"Great Note Taking Tool"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I like the various ways you can segregate your notes. From the various notebooks you can create many sections and for each section you can have many pages. This prevents things from getting cluttered. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? My biggest issue with it is formatting. I don't have the easiest time formatting some of the notes I take. It is not the simplest thing to do. Luckily I'm doing more of screenshots and brief ...
