"Easy to Use"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I recently started using OneNote and really like it. It is replacing the numerous notepads on my desk. I can create tabs to keep my notes organized at all times. The date and time is automatically added when I create a new note, which is important to my work in HR. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? I haven't found anything that I dislike. The program is very user friendly and simple. What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how ...

"Great virtual notebook for personal or team use"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I love being able to open one "document" and access tons of information. With the tabs and pages of my notebooks, I'm able to keep information that I would normally store in 10+ files all in one notebook/file. It makes it a lot easier to find things - especially with the search function. When collaborating with my team, we can link files in the workbook, so we don't always have to explain to the rest of the group where x, y and z are saved on ...

"My lifesaver - I couldn't do my job without this!"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I love how easy it is to organize my files as well as find them. The design is so clean and easy to read. I never feel overwhelmed trying to find my notes. I like being able to have my information on my laptop but also be able to access my note on my phone. The app is a lifesaver! What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? I wish it were easier to share one note files between PC and Mac computers as I worked with people who use both, and it ...

"Oh One Note..."

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? Its very user friendly and integrates well with outlook. I love that you can send documents in between and save them as pages on One Note. It's also an easy way to PDF emails. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? you need to save it somewhere on your desktop or server, sometimes it disconnects for no reason. It's confusing to make a back up of your notebook. I lost all of my information when IT had a reboot my computer :-(. What ...

"Great tool - although can get complicated"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? It has all the Microsoft features that you would expect, plus more. I specifically liked the check-box feature, so that you can build a to-do-list. Also like the functionality of adding icons, and being able to search and filter by them - particularly useful when doing a joint project. It has a really simple layout (that of a folder with files) and intuitively shows where updates have been added. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? I ...

"Can be useful, depending on your needs"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? Great for things like inspiration boards, where you want to capture a lot of information from lots of sources and be able to organize it. I like the "notebooks" and that you can sub-divide into sections and then pages within a section. I like the integration with many other Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.) and the "Send to OneNote" feature that you'll see in other Office products. The drawing features and ability to insert all kinds of ...

"Good as a notebook; I wish there were more project planning functions."

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I like the ability for flexible placement of text and images within pages. I appreciate the effort at making mobile-friendly versions, although the Android app is not extremely practical. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? The loose hierarchical structure of content organization is clunky. While this might be a good tool for casual notetaking, organizing those notes becomes cumbersome because of the UI. Recommendations to others ...
