"MS OneNote - Good way to travel"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I like using MS OneNote when needing to travel with multiple documents, but do not want to take actual hard copies of the documents with me. OneNote allows me to take notes directly on a document and make notes a specific color to distinguish what the note refers to (a way to color code / key each note based on what the note is). It also allows for the creation of blank documents, tabs and pages to give you the freedom of developing a document ...

"I Use OneNote as a Task List and Note Hub in One"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I love OneNote! I keep a "Mission Control" — my to do list — with links to all of my notebooks. It allows me to organize a huge amount of information in a central location. Also, as an organization nerd, the ability to color-code and customize my notebooks is super helpful. I probably use the table function more than anything — it's great for really complex task lists or tracking progress in a long process or long-term project. What do you ...

"Love this tool"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? Microsoft OneNote is simple and easy to use. I love that it opens quickly, I can add my notes and then close without having to save or worry about anything getting lost. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? I don't have any complaints, it does what it's supposed to do. Maybe a more visually appealing interface. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote: OneNote is at it's best when you use different tabs, and then separate ...

"OneNote - it is what it says"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I love how you can have varuious sections and notebooks. It allows me to keep all of my notes in one place. And how I can email them directly from the application. It has come in handy many many times. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? I haven't found anything that I dislike yet. What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you? Being to email notes or screen images to individuals who may have missed the meeting.

"Keep your team on the same page and get your ideas ready to share!"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? We use this product across our work team and throughout the organization. We have moved away from Evernote or other note taking programs to enable better sharing and communicating. The computer program is rock solid and has a lot of built-in features that allows anyone who uses any current Microsoft products to feel at home. You can share entire notebooks with teams and give different permissions to different notebooks. I also really like the ...

"Only Notes"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? Syncing feature between all devices as well as organizational methodology. The searching and tagging capabilities is great. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? When linking to my online notebook One Note duplicated my notebooks. This became a game of "which one of these is not like the other". The tagging feature could be a bit more intuitive. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote: Review what your company is ...

"Amazing software "

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I love being able to take Screenshots easily with One Note What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? I don't like how unlimited the space is where you can write notes. I sometimes lose my notes as they are tucked away somewhere far from the top left corner of a page. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote: Explore the multiple amount of functionalities that are offered in this software. It is loaded with hidden gems What ...

"Best note taking application"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? That it's easy to use and has a ton more flexible than Evernote. I switched about a year ago and have never looked back. Being able to create notebooks and then pages, and sub pages makes it easy to organize notes. But also being able to create text boxes off to the side for extra detail is handy What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? I can't think of anything That I dont like about the software. Recommendations to others considering ...

"Quick organization of all my notes in one spot"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I like how you can easily organize different colored tabs for each subject or area and then add separate pages that get stored under that tab. So for me, I can quickly navigate from campaign to campaign and access all of the details I need. While I only occasionally use the search feature, it is helpful to navigate to a specific spot without scanning the entire document. I have not yet used the sharing capability, but I do plan on using it to ...
