"It's great, but I forget about it and then wonder if it's necessary"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I like how flexible it is. I can put in pictures, words, graphs, tables. It's not super easy to keep everything there that I want, but it's not horrible. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? It's just not top of mind. I forget to open it and take notes in my email draft folder or in Word. Would be nice if it were shared like Google Docs. I wish I could create sticky notes on my desktop. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft ...

"Great for keeping notes!"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I used to work in heavy telecommunications - being able to access OneNote quickly helped keep my communication log in order. Tracking by month, week and day with subpages was pretty cool. I was able to clip from different programs and drop into OneNote so that I could reference the documents or forms that our clients or residents were referring. It was also useful for preparing my Meeting Agenda and Minutes. What do you dislike about Microsoft ...

"Most underutilized program in the workplace!"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? While I'm not a fan of most of Microsofts programs because they like to auto format and breaking that formatting is horrible, Microsoft Onenote is versatile and very user friendly. It also allows for sharing realtime document and change annotations outside of your typical shared document that requires 'checking out' the document. You are able to embed files, create checklists within tables easily, etc. Its uses are endless. What do you dislike ...

"Just the note-taking program I've been searching for as a student!"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I love that OneNote lets you upload powerpoint slides and then take notes. Of course, you can do this on PowerPoint, but the notetaking space is relatively small. With OneNote, you have ample room to take notes, and can make graphs, draw, record lectures, and have extensive bullet points next to the slides. I really, really love this program. I'm a college senior now, and wish I had known about it as a freshman. What do you dislike about ...

"An underestimated gem of a program."

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I love having a centralized repository for How To's, Meeting Notes, Demo Credentials, and other pertinent information, and a program that you can easily clip and store articles and websites to and refer back to them later, but write down why you want to revisit these items, not just bookmark and forget them. What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote? I lost a significant amount of OneNote data because it does not automatically backup to the ...

"Sarina's Microsoft OneNote Review"

What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote? I wish I would have known about this program sooner. I love that this program has allowed me to work better virtually and without paper. I love to make to do lists to keep myself organized and the check boxes and capability to call out different to do's have made a world of difference. I also love that you can have multiple tabs so you are able to create a different page for each of your different projects. It is also great that you can share ...
