"Surprisingly powerful and pleasant to use"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? So many organizations use gigantic Excel spreadsheets to manage their data, with complex vlookups and other formulas to join tables. But this is exactly what a database platform is meant to solve, and in a much easier and more robust way than a spreadsheet can handle. Plus, Access can handle millions of rows of data while Excel starts to break down with such large datasets. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? As with any new tool, there ...

"Pretty easy to use"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? Access isn't too complicated to use to get your databases in order. I'm sure I don't know more than 10% of what it can do, but for what I need it works great. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? Can be a bit tough at first to figure out how to get something put together, but once you get to know the program it isn't bad. What problems is Microsoft Access solving and how is that benefiting you? Tracking different statistics

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? So simple to use and integrate with. Easy to get up and running and no limits to the possibilities. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? Difficult to publish. Its structured around SQL which is somewhat old school. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Access: Its a must have in your analytical tools set. I have tried a wide array of tools. Some with more success and failure than others. Access has always been a mainstay in the ...

"Database Management With Office Integration"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? The query logic is very streamlined and I like the integration into the Office Suite. The template library provides a wide range of useful tools which can be customized for specific business needs. Most traditional uses can be upgraded within the software, or found online in the user forum. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? Some of the functionality seems to be inconsistent with other Office software titles and makes for a steeper ...

"Very useful, but takes a little bit to learn but well worth it."

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? The database construction techniques, the webapps, the ease of creating primary links and the overall use case being fairly easy for the end user it may be designed for. The ability to switch between tables quickly. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? "Microsoft Access is a very useful product if you can work around the memory limitations "

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? Microsoft access is well supported through multiple avenues online. It is also commonly used throughout the private sector and government sector of which I work in. Being able to track employees work and connect databases over the entire company is also very useful. Additionally to being able to track employees, access allows more advanced users to create "forms" which allows less skilled access users to perform simple data review without the ...
