"Frustrating. "

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? Well, it lets me look up the information I need and it let's me save new information. So that's handy. It's basically the easiest program for us to use. It doesn't cost thousands of dollars for not much more functionality like other programs, that's a plus. But it's so unwieldy that we've spent YEARS having a custom program designed for us so that we can stop using this one. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? The interface is out of ...

"Microsoft Access Versus Excel"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? In regards to Microsoft Access versus Excel the only benefit I see in Access is that multiple users can enter data in it at the same time. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? One reason I got it was because it was suppose to be able to manage large databases much better than Excel. However, I cannot tell a difference. Also, it was suppose to be able to be more capable with other softwares in regards to importing and exporting files. ...

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? The ease of use and ability to create forms which in turn allows users to input and manage various forms of data. "Useful for those that know, difficult for those that don't"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? The database aspect of access makes it far superior to excel. Even better is the ability to design and push out what is essentially an info-management application to users in an office. The issue is if you're not looking to make something that hides the back end bits from everyone. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? The lack of real progress on making it as user friendly as excel has become. This leads to some tough issues in trying to ...
