What is Meshroom?
Meshroom is a free, open source photogrammetry application built on the AliceVision computer vision framework. It runs a node-based pipeline where each processing step is visible and can be modified or re-run independently — genuinely useful for learning how photogrammetry works, and for anyone who needs to customize the pipeline rather than accept a black box. It requires an NVIDIA CUDA-capable GPU for dense reconstruction, which is its main practical constraint. There is no license cost and no commercial restriction.
