What do you like best? Looker empowers non-technical business users to self-service basic reporting requests. What do you dislike? It is difficult to manage legacy view files and models. I believe the use can be tracked only up to the Explore level. Given that the same view file can be reference in more than 1 Explore, and a view file may not actually been used in the Explore (ex. User not selecting a single field from the view file), it has been difficult to manage old view files. ...

Seamless and Democratized

What do you like best? Looker is one of the easiest ways to democratize data within your organization, and flexible enough to work within your organization. What do you dislike? The fact that Looker is so flexible means that it can get messy without proper governance. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? As a consultant I work with enterprises to build out their data models. I have seen what a difference it makes to their access to data.

Great product to evaluate, good sales engineering experience thusfar

What do you like best? The hands-on approach in building our POC has been great, lots of help and resource provided. What do you dislike? May not be the right price model for our company long-term, but we are still evaluating. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Unified data model / semantic layer, democratized exploration for different users.

What do you like best? I really appreciate the Quality of the product development in Looker. The mechanics of Looker work really well. I am pretty impressed with the Customer service 24/7 provided by Looker, reps are super helpful, professional and detailed in answering our questions What do you dislike?
