Beware of compulsory add ons

This was such a great company when it was VEND. Since becoming Lightspeed no bug fixes and rates doubling. Now they are strong arming you to insist that you have to sign up for supplementary services or you will pay through the roof - with 30 days notice! Beware

Blackmailing small businesses

Product was OK for what we were paying and then the price increases started early 2023. Now their "Integrated Payment" system which we are forced to sign up to will cost us an extra $500 a month on top of what we were paying before. If we don't use them then we are penalised plus we still have to pay merchant fees with our bank. They have only given a month to signup as well or we will be penalised. Lightspeed has been the worst company…

Lightspeed has been the worst company in the world to deal with as far as customer service.You can never speak to anyone on the phone. Everything is done through email and some stupid video they send you to “help” with your problems. Once they get the contract signed, good bye human communication by phone. Reports are Inaccurate

The accounting/reports are not accurate. Accounting is not a gray area. I've been told by support that they are "just rounding errors", "we don't support that report anymore because it's inaccurate", (so why is it available?), there is no one report to support a daily bookkeeping entry - you will have to hunt for numbers and use multiple reports and tolerate discrepancies. Simply unacceptable.
