Excellent Point of Sale
Lightspeed has transformed our business. Our systems are more integrated and we can track our personnel and basic inventory. We can tailor menus to suit our business. Great functionality and ease of use. You can't go wrong with this point of sale. Buy it!!

We have been using lightspeed for 6 years now and I like how easy it is to use and how it comes with so many features that are useful in our business. It is very organized and you are able to look up records and sales from years passed and compare which allows you to grow your business.

A disappointed user
I have been using Lightspeed for 5 months, and I cant dislike them more. The front office is good maybe even great (depending on your business) I definitely feel it is not appropriate for bars. FSR and QSR maybe, but only if you never need to speak to customer service about difficult questions. You only have access to the low level support. They are the gate keeper to any advanced techs, payment dept. or any management or development team. You have an account manager, but almost anything I ...

Great platform
Great platform, handles multiple physical locations, ecom, inventory, reporting, taxes etc... really well. Easy enough for new retail staff to pick up immediately and make sales. Highly recommend.

Best Piece of Software
This is the best piece of software our company has every purchased. The inventory process and POS system are above all of the other software we looked at. The only downside is that the ecommerce side of the software could be more robust.

have had lightspeed for over 7 years.
have had lightspeed for over 7 years.if it works it's good.because the internet connection here in spain was bad, we used onsite.now they have stopped onsite and you have to move to retail.I can't get that done.had contact to hours on hold.They would transfer the stock and prices to retail for us.from then on we hear nothing more.the intermediary's mailbox indicates that he cannot be reached until 12 October.called back to the helpdesk again waiting for hours, explained the problem, then ...

I have been using Lightspeed for 9 years. I love the product. It is very user friendly. They are constantly adding additional features to their products. There is always someone who is professional available to assist you if you have issues.

BEWARE about migrating away...
Had lightspeed Onsite for years... worked well although there were some integration issues for connecting multiple store locations via VPN, which we had to do ourselves. The new cloud version is overpriced.But the problems started when we decided to navigate away from the software. The new cloud POS system wouldn't handle inter store transfers for furniture feeding from a central warehouse like the onsite system would, also the negative inventory was an issue when selling more units than ...
