Lever pros and cons

  • Automates and streamlines repetitive recruitment tasks like scheduling, email management, and interview feedback, saving time and improving efficiency.

  • Intuitive, user-friendly interface with minimal training needed, enabling quick adoption across teams, including non-technical users.

  • Enhances collaboration and transparency within hiring teams and stakeholders by centralizing information and processes.

  • Offers useful features like bulk actions, nurture campaigns, built-in templates, and Chrome extensions for increased productivity.

  • Customer support post-implementation is inconsistent and unresponsive at times, leading to delays in issue resolution.

Love the CRM aspect, Analytics need improvement

What do you like best? The biggest upside of using Lever is that you can view the entire candidate profile in one spot unlike other ATS's. This helps recruitment teams that might have multiple touchpoints with a candidate be more streamlined. What do you dislike? There were several times where I'd run a simple report such as how many applicants we got that week and I know it'd be inaccurate. This is pretty frustrating given how much Lever flaunts its reporting. If I am not a strong ...

Awesome ATS

What do you like best? Very easy to manage candidates, e-mail templates are great, lots of customization, easy to link to job postings on many sites. What do you dislike? It's hard to get a top level picture of where people are dropping off in the interview process - i.e. is it interview 1, interview 2, etc What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Job application tracking and management. It has significantly cut down on the amount of ...

Great ATS, Data side needs a little extra

What do you like best? I love the ease of posting jobs to our external sources. Also, I’ve worked with other ATS platforms and this one has a very nice UI for my hiring managers, I barely have to train them on it—it’s rather intuitive. What do you dislike? My only recommendation for improvement would be the ability to pull custom reports that export into an Excel format to use for data visualization.i would also love to see an easier way to track time to fill per each new req. ...

very experienced in recruiting, ATS's, other tools

What do you like best? easy to learn and use - i like the connections (@'s). What do you dislike? 1] id like to be able to toggle to req based versus candidate based, 2] when scheduling interviews, if you could add the ability to add an attachment (doc or other) it would be HUGELY beneficial, 3] reporting that integrates to power bi or other useful tool Recommendations to others considering the product: call them and ask for demo and dont be afraid to ask them what youd like ...

Recruiter who actively uses Lever to track candidate progress through the funnel

What do you like best? Having centralized data that is easily accessible. This also helps with consistency and creates a better experience for applicants. What do you dislike? Wish there was a way to create unique recruitment plans for different positions. For example, the interview process for my entry-level roles is entirely different from my Leadership positions. Recommendations to others considering the product: Lever is a great resource but may be a challenge for larger ...

Awesome, recruitment cycle has been made easy.

What do you like best? Lever is a simple tool to use. The support team is ready to help at all times. It has made the recruitment process simpler and as a HR practitioner, I have an overview of the steps the hiring managers are following on getting a resource for their team. Transparency and ownership of the process. What do you dislike? So far so good. I have no complains about lever since we just started using it. Recommendations to others considering the product: I would ...

What do you like best? Lever has enabled us to work across multiple locations and teams, with consistency and clarity on where an applicant is in the process, what has been communicated with the candidates, and for us to share notes and interview experiences easily. The prompts for interview feedback mean that interviewers provide timely insight into the candidate and the interview so that the recruitment team can act quickly. It now provides prompts for when candidates don't ...
