Well a bad router and bad customer…

Well a bad router and bad customer service left a bad taste in my mouth...the router that they sold me was the culprit for a terrible transition into the LAVU software. The sold me a bad router...which they were aware of once I paid for a network engineer to solve the issue...you think they could have reimbursed me for the router? No because my employee threw out the box... A lame excuse left a bad taste in my mouth. Too bad because I’d probably still be with them...

Operationally the Sales Front end…

Operationally the Sales Front end performs very well and is reliable. The back office and reporting whilst functionable remain a little "clunky". The absence of global menu and other global features across multiple stores is a deficiency that would be great to have adddressed.

PROS: Lavu makes running a restaurant like a walk in the park. I can manage inventory, track employees' hours, and get analytical sales reports with ease. CONS: With Lavu's success, it's high time that it focuses on upgrading with a mobile app for wider and easier access.

Excellent customer experience overall

PROS: Besides Lavu providing all our business needs, its customer support is superb, responding promptly with very useful answers that are easy to understand and apply. CONS: There's nothing Lavu can't do well for our business.

Surprisingly great for training

PROS: My students and I find Lavu easy to work with. It has a simple design that not only anticipates but also meets your needs. I also like that it gives me room for customization. CONS: Whenever we make updates to the system, there would be a few delays in the printing—but none that are too major.

"Awful results, no accountability"

What do you like best about Lavu? That we have moved on to another system. What do you dislike about Lavu? For some reason, our Lavu system was dropping about 2 to 5% of our transactions. The issue was not traceable to us except by noting the discrepancy in our bank account deposits versus the Lavu reports. In repeated calls, Lavu was unable to determine the problem.
