Are you using Kentico Kontent?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Kontent.ai's main strength is its headless CMS architecture, which eliminates the need to build custom backend API layers. This matters if your team wants to manage content once and publish to websites, mobile apps, and other channels without duplicating work. The interface is straightforward for content creation and model setup, and the SDK support reduces ...Read more

Simple user interface that enhances collaboration and efficiency among team members.
Easy setup for marketers and developers, providing capabilities for content creation, scheduling, and deployment across multiple channels.
Some users find the platform to be expensive, potentially limiting its accessibility for certain clients.

Does everything we need
What do you like best? The initial implementation was quite simple and the responsiveness is great. What do you dislike? Deserializing the JSON objects can be difficult with complex templates. We figured it out, but it took a little work. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try it out!!! The headless CMS improves performance and we have not had a single issue getting content since we first implemented 6 months ago. What problems are you solving with the ...

Very cool Headless CMS
What do you like best? I like the fact that there are a pre-defined datatypes available to use, while still having the ability to create custom data elements. What do you dislike? I don't like the fact that for rich text content, the only format available is HTML. I would prefer if there was a flag that would allow me to request that content as Markdown (or something like that). What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We were trying to ...

easy to use, quick and intuitive
What do you like best? What I like about Kentico is that you learn how to operate it very quickly. What do you dislike? We sometimes experience glitches and bugs as the software is still being developed. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Modern, fast and simple
What do you like best? I think the content modelling and editing interface is great. I am able to craft my content models very quickly and the interface is snappy. The exposed features such as "discussions" and "workflows" are very good. What do you dislike? I can't seem to find a way to programatically create webhook notifications for content model updates. This would be veery useful for IaC setups What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Kentico Cloud is a great cloud based cms
What do you like best? Kentico Cloud has a great sdk that makes it super easy to implement What do you dislike? The CMS UI could use some help with tables, but otherwise meets my needs. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I was able to convert an existing Wordpress site over to a Kentico Cloud site for a client. They now have fuller control over the look and feel, while still maintaining the ability to manage the content on their own.

Kentico Cloud provides efficiency and consistency
What do you like best? We've been using Kentico Cloud internally and with our customers since its initial launch. Kentico Cloud provides an easy-to-use, content development environment which has provided us with a standardized templated way to gather content and work it through the typical development processes a website build goes through. One of the things that is very big in the web world these days, is keeping content pure and simple, while creating complexity of design and action ...

Exciting and continually developing
What do you like best? Some of the best things about Kentico Cloud is its ease of use, collection of connectors and boilerplates and its support level. What do you dislike? There's nothing major to dislike. Sure, there are some annoyances in the content editing flow and managing media items - but they are usually added to the read map pretty quickly so dont last for long! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Structured data separated ...

CMS for the future
What do you like best? Ability to create a custom backend, easy learning curve, cool trial formula. It is fast and reliable. Requests and API are prettyr straightforward What do you dislike? To me it is more oriented towards react, Angular and thos new framework that generate HTML from a Javascript environement. Gap between starter formula and pro formula for little agency like mine Recommendations to others considering the product: use placeholders to avoid glitches while ...
