Great product - a little pricey...

What do you like best? We use this primarily to keep passwords in sync and add an additional level of security to small and medium networks where AD may not be available or realistic for a full deployment. What do you dislike? Jumpcloud can get expensive fast. Nonprofit pricing helps, but the bottom line is this is a costly service for small businesses. Recommendations to others considering the product: For really small networks, the freemium product is fantastic value. ...

Next Level Active Directory

What do you like best? I like the lightweight but powerful agent that allows you to monitor and control end user machines. I appreciate JumpCloud consistent improvements and innovations based on user feedback and their delivery. The ease and user friendly set up of the Admin console for JumpCloud is pretty easy to manage compared to other products. The simplicity does not downplay the quality of tools offered on the console page. What do you dislike? The one issue I had was the ...

Oustanding Directory as a service!

What do you like best? The fact that we can add a whole new level of control to our clients that do not have Active Directory or want to eliminate an in house server. What do you dislike? The only downsides we have are lack of AD integration which has now been solved and we would like to have more default policies. Recommendations to others considering the product: Please give JumpCloud a try you will not be disappointed. What problems are you solving with the product? ...

JumpCloud has helped us grow in an effective and efficient manner while controlling costs.

What do you like best? Not needing an on-premise directory solution has saved us quite a bit of upfront and ongoing costs. The SSO is well supported and supports all the vendors that we require. Support is the best in the business and always helpful when we need some assistance. What do you dislike? JumpCloud does a good job at what it is trying to do. My advice would be to make some of the more advanced features more user friendly, such as their new Systems Manager feature. ...

Excellent SSO Suite

What do you like best? We love the ability to configure, add and remove users from systems, SAAS platforms and even internal processes in one convenient places. What do you dislike? There's not a ton I dislike, frankly. I think the previous iteration of the documentation that had individualized guides per service was a bit more helpful, but I understand why it was unsustainable. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure you get a demo and understand the ...

More than Directory Services as-a-service!

What do you like best? It is great for small businesses that use a lot of SaaS software and that may not standardize on one OS. It is very easy to enforce password security, 2FA (which also provides a great second layer of security for SSH connections), makes software provisioning for things like Office 365, G Suite, and other SaaS apps a breeze. What do you dislike? I dislike that there are still some hiccups with the MacOS App and the interaction between user's password updates ...

Easy way to manage the users from wherever you are!!!

What do you like best? JumpCloud is a very good product to Manage Macs computers without getting stressed. Also I heard that soon JumpCloud will become MDM this is great!!! What do you dislike? Few things have to be improved like; - More Windows policies, exactly Windows security policies would be handy for any System Admin used to manage Windows machine in Active Directory. - More Apple policies - The option to disable the users rather than delete when left for certain ...

Amazing Cloud Directory Service - Goodbye Active Directory

What do you like best? JumpCloud is nimble and robust - we have increasing added use of their cloud directory as they have built out their offering. Stability has been great and so much easier to manage than AD. JumpCloud has repeatedly demonstrated an interest in understanding our specific needs and works to accommodate them whenever possible. What do you dislike? It would be great if JumpCloud leaned in more to SSO and allow us to utilize them for all directory/SSO needs. Current ...

Simplistic Cloud AD

What do you like best? Ability to manage my users from any location. Ease of installation and integration. Powerful API What do you dislike? With it being in progress of development some tools (the AD Read/Write Bridge) being unavailable made it difficult to develop some business practices What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I was used to antiquated Active Directory tools, but having a cloud resource that integrates everything I ...
