Oustanding Directory as a service!

What do you like best? The fact that we can add a whole new level of control to our clients that do not have Active Directory or want to eliminate an in house server. What do you dislike? The only downsides we have are lack of AD integration which has now been solved and we would like to have more default policies. Recommendations to others considering the product: Please give JumpCloud a try you will not be disappointed. What problems are you solving with the product? ...

Next Level Active Directory

What do you like best? I like the lightweight but powerful agent that allows you to monitor and control end user machines. I appreciate JumpCloud consistent improvements and innovations based on user feedback and their delivery. The ease and user friendly set up of the Admin console for JumpCloud is pretty easy to manage compared to other products. The simplicity does not downplay the quality of tools offered on the console page. What do you dislike? The one issue I had was the ...

Great product - a little pricey...

What do you like best? We use this primarily to keep passwords in sync and add an additional level of security to small and medium networks where AD may not be available or realistic for a full deployment. What do you dislike? Jumpcloud can get expensive fast. Nonprofit pricing helps, but the bottom line is this is a costly service for small businesses. Recommendations to others considering the product: For really small networks, the freemium product is fantastic value. ...

I love JumpCloud - I have implemented it at 3 companies and about to be a 4th

What do you like best? I do not need Active Directory. I love the SSH key features, I love the SSO/SAML and Radius features What do you dislike? Many of the SaaS vendors require enterprise subscriptions which cost more to use SSO/SAML. Recommendations to others considering the product: Get to know JumpCloud whether you have AD already or not. If you are starting up, use JumpCloud and avoid AD clutter What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Switching from On-Prem hardware, JumpCloud was an excellent choice in management for the business.

What do you like best? JumpCloud is fully integrated with G Suite and makes user management a very simple task. What do you dislike? Reporting. I think JumpCloud can do better at statistical reporting in order to export the information. Recommendations to others considering the product: JumpCloud has been very helpful in transitioning from On-Prem hardware and is able to provide more than what is needed to manage device and user management. What problems are you solving ...

JumpCloud is an awesome alternative to MS AD

What do you like best? No Infrastructure to purchase, manage, or maintain. What do you dislike? I wish there were more features built into enabling 3rd party / SSO integration with existing services/api's, etc. SSO integration exists but often it seems like it requires a fair bit of work to enable. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It enables us to securely authenticate and manage users and end user devices.

Keeps SSH keys and logins in sync

What do you like best? Keep logins and permissions among a small team of engineers in sync across a small fleet of servers can be taxing. JumpCloud makes it incredibly easy. SSH keys and logins are kept in sync so it's painless to SSH into every machine with the same credentials. In addition, the same logins can be authenticated via LDAP-as-a-service for our VPN servers. One less thing to manage. What do you dislike? Their free plan is so generous that I'll never reach the limits ...

Great product with excellent support

What do you like best? Powerful and easy to use with a good list of partner integrations What do you dislike? No complaints so far, good videos available and I'm used to online training What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our managed services business like central control with security in mind, JumpCloud offers that in spades. I'd highly recommend this solution and use it to manage PC's in a work-group and identity management ...

JumpCloud has helped us grow in an effective and efficient manner while controlling costs.

What do you like best? Not needing an on-premise directory solution has saved us quite a bit of upfront and ongoing costs. The SSO is well supported and supports all the vendors that we require. Support is the best in the business and always helpful when we need some assistance. What do you dislike? JumpCloud does a good job at what it is trying to do. My advice would be to make some of the more advanced features more user friendly, such as their new Systems Manager feature. ...
