Easy to maintian

What do you like best? It is so easy to set up a new work station. Very fast and easy password management. It is easy and fast to update user's passwords, or lock them out once they leave the company. What do you dislike? It is built with admin pros, and larger companies. It would be cool to have some of the larger features for smaller shops. Like intergrations with apps. Recommendations to others considering the product: Works great with Macs and iphones. What problems ...

Provides most of the services required

What do you like best? Ease of use. Grouping the systems and users is very very useful. What do you dislike? Development time for saml apps is high. Recommendations to others considering the product: It is easy to use and intuitive. I would like groups of groups functionality but not a show stopper What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We can enable and disable users. Add systems automatically. We would really ...

Ditching AD

What do you like best? JC gives me the basic features I've been using all along with AD - but without AD. I manage users, credentials, systems, policies, and even custom commands - all from JumpCloud. What do you dislike? I want to use the SSO feature of JumpCloud - but I'm currently using Okta. Okta is a bit more intuitive to me and my users. I have not made the change over to it yet. Recommendations to others considering the product: Plan your migration from the beginning ...

Great service that fills a clear gap in the macOS IT ecosystem

What do you like best? Provides many of the services of AD while combining SSO. It's perfect for a mac-only environment where you may have a few Windows machines and Linux servers. Love that you get DaaS while still getting SSO features for one cost. RADIUS and Policies are great bonuses. What do you dislike? Jumpcloud has 90% of the features of MDM without being a true MDM. If they can become and Apple-blessed MDM, my review would be updated to 10/10. Over the last few years ...

A versatile suite of tools for directory services and SSO

What do you like best? The ability to integrate with all sorts of applications and services using standard protocols (e.g. SAML, LDAP) as well as custom integrations (e.g. GSuite, Office 365/Azure AD). What do you dislike? The API could be fleshed out a little more. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're using JumpCloud as our primary directory and using it to integrate with other services/directories like GSuite and Office ...

Great product with excellent support

What do you like best? Powerful and easy to use with a good list of partner integrations What do you dislike? No complaints so far, good videos available and I'm used to online training What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our managed services business like central control with security in mind, JumpCloud offers that in spades. I'd highly recommend this solution and use it to manage PC's in a work-group and identity management ...

Keeps SSH keys and logins in sync

What do you like best? Keep logins and permissions among a small team of engineers in sync across a small fleet of servers can be taxing. JumpCloud makes it incredibly easy. SSH keys and logins are kept in sync so it's painless to SSH into every machine with the same credentials. In addition, the same logins can be authenticated via LDAP-as-a-service for our VPN servers. One less thing to manage. What do you dislike? Their free plan is so generous that I'll never reach the limits ...

JumpCloud is an awesome alternative to MS AD

What do you like best? No Infrastructure to purchase, manage, or maintain. What do you dislike? I wish there were more features built into enabling 3rd party / SSO integration with existing services/api's, etc. SSO integration exists but often it seems like it requires a fair bit of work to enable. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It enables us to securely authenticate and manage users and end user devices.

Switching from On-Prem hardware, JumpCloud was an excellent choice in management for the business.

What do you like best? JumpCloud is fully integrated with G Suite and makes user management a very simple task. What do you dislike? Reporting. I think JumpCloud can do better at statistical reporting in order to export the information. Recommendations to others considering the product: JumpCloud has been very helpful in transitioning from On-Prem hardware and is able to provide more than what is needed to manage device and user management. What problems are you solving ...

I love JumpCloud - I have implemented it at 3 companies and about to be a 4th

What do you like best? I do not need Active Directory. I love the SSH key features, I love the SSO/SAML and Radius features What do you dislike? Many of the SaaS vendors require enterprise subscriptions which cost more to use SSO/SAML. Recommendations to others considering the product: Get to know JumpCloud whether you have AD already or not. If you are starting up, use JumpCloud and avoid AD clutter What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...
