What do you like best? I like the ability to bind users to Office365 and GSuite What do you dislike? We really struggled getting the product implemented. We needed a great deal of support in doing so. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Everyone is a local admin on their system. Most people were using personal logins instead of company-issued credentials. We can also do inventory

Great directory server in the cloud
What do you like best? Replacement of our in-house LDAP infrastructure What do you dislike? Mac client password change complexity. SAML support is spotty for some third party apps. Inability to organize User portal tiles. Lack of centralized agent logging. Recommendations to others considering the product: Check all 3rd party applications for SAML requirements during the trial period. What problems are you solving with the product? Great Compromise for AD averse large business/small enterprise
What do you like best? Open source based, fairly complete solution. Adequate for passing SOX compliance audit in year one in our case. What do you dislike? Lack of admin ui for log analysis, accessible by API only. Still maturing....had to write our own account unlock tool leveraging their API until they released that feature earlier this year. Missing Logging was almost a showstopper for us. REST API's are fairly robust so nothing to fear if you can write your own ...

Cloud Based and User Friendly
What do you like best? Cloud is the way to go! This is way more efficient and saves me a trip to the office for basic network tasks like adding users. What do you dislike? With that said, we do hope for future enhancements that will allow us to apply a more controllable, responsive experience in lab environments, along with the ability to map cloud drives such as Google Drive and OneDrive or Dropbox. Recommendations to others considering the ...

Completely replaced our on-site Windows Active Directory
What do you like best? We were able to create a cost-effective single-sign-on replacement for our Windows Active Directory. The preset SAML integrations coupled with the custom SAML integration made it really easy to join all of our SAML based technologies together! What do you dislike? Currently, Jumpcloud has a user authentication cache issue that prevents the user credentials from being cached longer than 1 hour. This means you have to constantly log back in to jumpcloud ...

Jumpcloud for everyone
What do you like best? I love being able to deploy users on the fly to multiple different machines. It's easy to give and limit permissions based on your end-user. With Jumpcloud, there is no need for an Active Directory server. What do you dislike? The cost of Jumpcloud is a little high to implement on a large scale. Especially for smaller institutions. Just a little. All around it's pretty affordable. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try it out. It's ...
