Great Compromise for AD averse large business/small enterprise

What do you like best? Open source based, fairly complete solution. Adequate for passing SOX compliance audit in year one in our case. What do you dislike? What do you like best? We were able to create a cost-effective single-sign-on replacement for our Windows Active Directory. The preset SAML integrations coupled with the custom SAML integration made it really easy to join all of our SAML based technologies together! What do you dislike? Jumpcloud for everyone

What do you like best? I love being able to deploy users on the fly to multiple different machines. It's easy to give and limit permissions based on your end-user. With Jumpcloud, there is no need for an Active Directory server. What do you dislike? The cost of Jumpcloud is a little high to implement on a large scale. Especially for smaller institutions.
